interesting, i assume my fiber intake should be in that range. i would have to work it out to be certain however.
the only other thing that has changed drastically in my diet(I would say gas has always been there but major gas and indigestion has really excelled in the last month or two) has been going from almonds for my fat intake as 5 of meals with peanut butter being the last fat. In the summer 1 or 2 meals would come from avacodo, 1 meal from peanuts, 1 meal from peanutbutter and the remainder coming from almonds but I've never heard of almonds causing this?

I've never heard of almonds causing indigestion as well but I can't rule it out. Hopefully Fitnecise or Dsade can come back in here and help you out.

yup if not ill just keep trying different things, with my fiber intake i should not have an issue i also supplement with a couple greens products which contain fiber.
ps how are you liking Aragon's book? I was going to pick it up this summer but pick up Kleiner's Power Eating as it was more readily available

I like Alan's book since he doesn't really bull**** around and place a lot of supplement advertisements in there. It is a good read and I don't mind supporting him since he is a smart guy.
How do you like that Power Eating book? I've never heard of it before but I am always looking for good books to read.

It was pretty good. She's quite intelligent, more of a beginner break down of nutrition but definitely a highly recommended read to build a solid nutritional base. More directed toward the overall athlete rather then the bodybuilder, she sure loves her carbs. Very little supplementation information and no brands mentioned rather only raw ingredients.

That is the kind of book I would buy. I am not too concerned about reading about supplements since a diet is going to be the key to make progress anyway. Did you pick that up on Amazon?

someone picked it up for my birthday so they most likely just got it at indigo or chapters although I'm sure its quite cheaper on amazon.com
heres the link:
http://www.amazon.com/Power-Eating-3...2163859&sr=8-1
as I say shes alot about diversification and when it comes to supplements, the only ones shes approves are caffeine, protein and creatine she doesn't even give the nod the BCAA or beta-alanine yet calling for more research

That is pretty cheap. I'm not really a huge fan of BCAAs right now and I can understand being a skeptic of those.

I will usually use about 30 grams of ORIGINAL TEXTURE Psyllium fiber at night right before bed. By the time I wake up and have a cup of coffee, things are ready to roll.
Side benefit it that, depending on how backed up you are, you will notice a definite decrease in waist circumference.

Super Dieter's Tea will do that if dosed high.
I take a small amount of psyllium husk and/or flaxmeal as part of my daily diet.

Actually they can. Its called Diverticulitis. I had it a couple of years back & my waist went from 34 to 40+ inches in a week or so. You develop infection in your lower intestinal track that can just keep going on & on. I was miserable. Actually ended up in the hospital thinking it was my appendix. I havent eaten nuts, popcorn, anything of that nature in a long time & am a lot better. I eat popcorn or a handfull of cashews & i am miserable for a day or 2 after. Just my 2 cents.

Just tried 25g's added to a protein shake. Damn near undrinkable. How are you taking 30g's at once?

Mix it into some fruit juice and slug it down. Do NOT let it sit for too long or else it will turn into a gel.
