how do you measure body fat? Bioimpedence, calipers, submersion etc

2)what are some great lower and upper ab work outs? how about upper and lower is a myth, cable crunches and leg raises (aka weighted ab exercises) are the best.

3) how to work out the calves/ quads with out a machine? i do squats but i need something new? calves, one legged calf raises on any surface, lunges for quads, sissy squats etc

thanks

1) how do you measure body fat? - Your gym, local college, or other experienced individual can use calipers (actual physical measument when skin is pinched) and then formulate from there. Just google 'calipers body fat'. Bioimpedance and submersion are far more accurate, but they are hard to find.

2)what are some great lower and upper ab work outs? - There is debate on whether a difference exists, but my body tells me: Lower abs: A variety of leg raises (hanging, lying, weighted). Upper: everything else.

3) how to work out the calves/ quads with out a machine? i do squats but i need something new - Calves: raises on steps, ledges, ect.. Quads: KEEP SQUATING!!! But you can do lunges, or plyometrics (jumping up and down one legged on a higher surface).
