to answer my own question
to answer my own question, I got my new belt, and did 315 5x5 deadlifts friday and my back is feeling really good. wide belts are better then the small skinny narrow ones, I bought a large that fits nice and tight. so to conclude my inquery is tighter, thicker, and wider the belt the better w/ less pain!
