Bulk Or Cut Program?
So i am 100 days into my bulking program today. I am extremely disciplined and feel that about it has been since about the 50 day mark into my program i finally got into a good lifting routine and nutrition plan.
I have researched the best and follow there routine and am focusing on form rather than weight. Even though i wish the amount i could lift would increase a little faster.
So here is my question, i want to bulk up and make some major gains on my chest. Should i be bulking or cutting?
Please check out my profile for all my details as i update my blog daily and measurements bi-weeky and progress pics bi-weekly also.
I keep a pretty simple nutrition plan which is:
Wake Up - Cell Mass
Food #1 - 8 Egg Whites
Food #2 - Protein Shake
Food #3 - 6" Roasted Chicken Sub (Subway) - double meat
After Workout - Cell Mass
Food #4 - Protein Shake
Food #5 - Salmon or Chicken and Veggies (w/1 tbsp peanut butter)
Food #6 - Muscle Milk
Weight Training Plan looks like this:
Monday - Arms
Tuesday - No-Lifts (Cardio - 20 min upright bike)
Wed - Back
Thu - No-Lifts
Fri - Shoulders
Saturday - Chest & Legs
Sunday - No-Lifts
Let me know what you think i should be doing, all input would be appreciated.
Also any thoughts on my progress pics and measurements to date would be great. Prior to this i had never lifting in my life.
I am most happy about my arm gains. Started at 11" which was pathetic, now at 13.5" (a normal size?), goal is 15" by Christmas.
Looking forward to the feedback.

Since you said "i want to bulk up and make some major gains on my chest."
You should bulk not cut...
As for your diet, I'd probably add in weight gainer and eat more carbs
Looks good tho, you taking any multi, fish oil caps, NO, Creatine?

If you are wanting to emphasize chest size you should opt for bulking. You probably indeed need more carbs and probably overall calories per day if this is what you are after.
Do you know how many grams of protein, carbs, fat and calories you are getting in a day? This is mandatory if you want to be sure all of your gains are muscle w/little to no body fat.
If you are wanting to emphasize losing body fat while building up your chest you need to consume fewer calories than you burn while taking in sufficient carbs and protein to fuel your workouts; making sure you are getting progressively stronger in your chest exercises.
Best of luck!

I am taking cell-mass and muscle milk and protein as my supplements and i think the introduction of muscle milk these past two weeks have helped with my progress. These past two weeks seem to have made some major changes, at least people are starting to notice anyways.
My chest finally had some changes today!
I update my measurements and progress pics every two weeks, this Friday will be my next update and should hopefully have some visible changes in the pics. I understand it isnt a quick process but do expect by the 200 day mark of my muscle transformation i should look very different.

147 Days In Now...
Anyone with more thoughts or suggestions?
I am now 147 days in and have noticed the biggest gains in my ability to do chin-ups, i assume my back strength must be increasing!
Should i be bulking or cutting given my current frame?

im going to start by letting you know i havnt looked at your profile, just read the post. if you want to get bigger - BULK. if you want to get lean - CUT its as simple as that. also in my opinion its the winter so bulk up and get a little chubby, your going to have sweat shirts and coats on any way no one will see the fat. as for your diet you need to eat more food. real food puts on weight better than shakes. im not saying dont take the shakes just add a little more real food, maybe replace a shake with a 'real food shake' just blend up a bunch of food. my favorite is
2 cups whole milk
1 cup oats
2 bananas
handfull almonds
tbsp peanut butter
its about 1000 cal and is real food in the form of a shake. post workout i add a scoop of whey. 147 days in i hope you havnt been following the same routine. your routin should be changed every 4-8 weeks. just keep lifting heavy eating big and sleeping like a baby. you will grow

Progress Pics Updates
I have just updated my progress pics now 22 weeks in. Do you think the transformation is coming along well and just stick to a bulk program?
