Water
Anyone else NOT drink a gallon of water a day?
There's no way I can drink that much. Is there anyone else who can't either? I strictly drink water all day long and nothing else, unless I have a Protein Shake, but I know it all doesn't add up to a gallon.

Some days I know I am definitely not getting a gallon, even though that's all I drink (besides Soy Milk in my cereal). I think I'm naturally more thirsty some days and not on others. But I do eat alot of fruits and that does add to my water intake for the day.

I've been drinking a gallon of water a day for years. People use to laugh at me for it. Once I totaled my car, and in the insurance pics you can see my gallon jug in the back seat.
Build up to a gallon. You don't have to master the art of being water-logged in one day.

I usually come in just under 1 gal. usually around 12-14 - 8 oz glasses of water/day. Do you know how much you are drinking?
I just noticed you're 5'3"/100# so if you're not quite making a gallon a day I wouldn't fret.

i have the same problem... water is actually very hard on my stomach. i worked up to 2.5 L a day for awhile.... then i was down to a few glasses recently. my goal is to be back up to 2.5 L by mid next week.
i found that squeezing some fresh lemon or orange into the water helps it to not be so hard on my stomach. or herbal iced tea... i've always got a stash of that in the fridge.
i don't know if i'm just super sensitive or what, but yeah, it's hard for me.

My office provides unlimited 500ml bottled water. I grab them 2 at a time and keep them on my desk so they're right in my face. I accumulate my empties in a little corner so I can see how much I've had. At a minimum I will drink 6 bottles, sometimes 8 without even trying. Plus I usually have a bottle with breakfast before work and easily another 2 after work at the gym.
On the weekend I carry around a little "H2O-to-go" 1L bottle every where I go. And not, like, in my backpack on in my car, but IN MY HAND. If I'm getting groceries or shopping, I'm taking a sip of water every 10 seconds or so.
Just put in right in front of you and it gets easier to drink without thinking about it.

I drink over a gallon a day, pretty easily. I keep a 20 oz cup at my desk and refill every time I finish it. I get at least 100 oz in the 8 hours I sit at my desk each day. I get 20 oz before work, 20 oz at the gym and then 17 oz after the gym.
On the weekends, I find it more difficult, but usually get 100 oz.

Today was an interesting day with water. This post inspired me to start drinking more water so today I aimed for the gallon of water. I did not think that it would be that hard, but it was a little bit of a struggle. My first two glass were okay but by my third one I thought that I was going to be sick.
To mix it up I threw a little crystal light in the bottle to give it a different flavor. After doing that it was easier for me to drink the rest.
The worst experience though was feeling like I had to run to the bathroom at every moment. My job sucks in the fact that I work in a call center and I cannot just get up at every time that I have a whim. There was a time that I had to wait for about 20 minutes. That was the most excruciating 20 minutes of my life.
But I am proud to say that I did get my gallon of water down for the day or at least I was pretty damn close.
Hope you all have enjoyed my pain

I find if I have a bottle always handy to drink I will drink a lot more than if I have to go and get it when I feel like it. I find it hard to drink just plain water all the time too so I make up extra extra weak gatorade so it has just a hint of flavor and I alternate with that. And in the morning I have watered down juice.. I know you can buy sugar free flavoring too I dont like that kind of thing but it may help some people.

I am mixed about consumption, especially after I switched to keto. On the one hand, keto makes me thirstier, but on the other hand, I don't find myself drinking a full gallon. I have no trouble drinking water; I burn through bottles of water in a matter of minutes. I tend to drink a lot at once, rather than slowly sipping throughout the day.
