Eating for muscle growth

I have spent the last part of the summer lifting heavy and building muscle. I have changed my routine up a bit and i need to clean up ,my diet as well. what is the best diet for losing fat while still supporting muscle growth?

More often than not, I'm in a mass-building phase, but those times I want to slim down a bit and get rid of some extra bodyfat, I really don't change my diet very much--I just add a lot more cardio to my training program. It does the trick for me, and I don't feel as though I lose any noticeable muscle mass as long as I keep my calories and carbs up in the meanwhile.

Smile suggestion?

So you want to shred some fat while not losing any muscle (or continue growing if you can)?

Even though, due to my job choice, ive lost alot of muscle..(enough to erase old photos of me when I had alot more mass and definition *sniff)...I can say slowly start adding extra cardio to your work outs..Not all at once though! Otherwise that just throws off the whole balance of things.

Also are you on any creatine/or/animal pak/ etc???

Many women at my gym use supplements to keep their muscles alive while they shred fat, although i have yet to venture too far out with that experiment myself..Well or at least not recently. I believe No-Explode was the recent topic they were talking about, although that surprised me, alot of men argue against women taking that among other things haha.

I hope I helped at least in some small way <.

Also its just a suggestion to look into what I mentioned :P!

Try increasing your protein intake and get your carbs from clean carbs only... yams, brown rice, oats, etc. Be sure that your pre and post workouts meals fuel your muscles and help you recover. I would personally change my diet before I added more cardio.

training/nutrition

I just started to take NO Explode and cell mass. Actually the guys at my gym encourage me to take it. I am trying to gain mass. Presently 90lbs, 5'0 and 31 yrs old. I have hard time eating starches. I am a recovering anorexic of 16yrs and the thought and feeling of the fullness scares me. I am hoping winter in OHIO is cold , so I can eat lotes of oatmeal, and other warm whole grains.
