Hey brahs, I'm thinking of picking this game up whenever I get the extra $. How does this compare to the original StarCraft? Is it just as good?

It's easier to play and pretty to look at. You should enjoy it if you enjoyed other Blizzard RTS games.

Right, your match ups are exclusive to other users on the EU server. You can't interact with anyone that's not on the EU server. Blizzard has always split up the servers for performance reasons (someone in North America playing on the Korean server will have less than average to poor latency).

I found a build by a player named "tang" that is instantly a win from bronze to diamond in ZvT.

15 hatch
16 gas

18 x2 queens
22 (2 pair of zerlings)
28 roach warren

44-52 lings
*** Once you get 8 roaches rally your lings to your roaches and attack. Should = GG in lower league play. ***

60- bane nest and evo chamber

Gahh stuck in Bronze League again after losing my Placement match PvT. Guy did a 3 marauder 2 marine 5 scv rush on me, managed to defend it but from there it was an uphill battle. Almost lost half my army to cloaked ghost which I shouldve scouted but couldnt coz i had no resources to scout (lost over half my probes holding off the cheese rush) eventually lose to his stim push in which i had to try defend with blink stalkers + 3 gates (wut..)

I swear i've gone from Masters -> absolute scrub in 3 weeks of no playing -.-

Rofl yes I do this build sometimes when my opp makes 4+ hellions out of reactor hellion expo. Learned it from DRG. Worse case scenario they open marauder tank... only happened to me once I swear map hax. Who the hell does that?

got to be the luckiest ****ing Protoss i've ever played in my life. Executed the perfect 3gate Blink stalker raped his base but he was attacking mine at the same time. I killed his entire supply and he had a few buildings left standing but I got the Defeated because apparently I had no buildings left... do pylons not count? had 2 proxy pylons setup with a 68/68 supply vs his 0/54... Feels phucking bad man my first win in about 30 games and I lose it because of some default sh!t.

Pylons count as buildings. He must have killed them. You can't be 68/68 with 2 proxy pylons... O_o

He didnt, I had my pylon up by his base proxy'd but it said I lost o.O and that was just after I killed his Army and had 14 or so blink stalkers left.

On a brighter note I just destroyed a Platinum Terran on Shakuras doing 1gate expand -> prism drop on main+natural -> high templar/chargelot

And then I lose blink stalkers vs Chargelot, lol wtf am I doing.... Well, that's it for tonight 1-11 is about as much as I can take, no idea wtf is going wrong my building is perfect, probe saturation is perfect, timing is perfect and stalker micro is perfect yet i'm getting my ass kicked by about every ****ing scrub alive...

Still losing alot but my gameplay is getting back to it's norm. No idea how these Bronze kiddos are beating me all the time but it's whatever. I'm producing probes whenever I have available Miners if i'm not warping in Units or setting up buildings so my saturation is almost immaculate. My Blink stalker/unit micro is also pretty outstanding, atleast for Bronze league, I've yet to meet anyone that can match my micro in games, I just get vastly outnumbered in supply which makes my micro ineffective.

What things can I try do to speed up/improve my gameplay? Is there any tips etc/guides etc?

I'm Protoss and i've followed what the guy said in this topic earlier. PvZ - FFE, PvT - 1gate Expand (this is the only matchup i'm winning atm and i'm destroying Terran), PvP - 3gate Blink Stalker.

My PvP is pretty good, I mean I only lose because of sh!t cheese and that's probably down to me never scouting, or scouting too late.

I think that could be my main problem as to why I keep losing so many games; Scouting. I suck at scouting.

how do you go from masters to bronze brah? If you're a master once, you understand the game, and you should definitely never ever be lower than plat.

Aye :P I've got a friend in top50 GrandMasters as Protoss but he's also GM on his Zerg + Terran account, he's just rarely ever online. If I can get him online I can grab 2-3hours of training with him on builds etc (he coaches for $$ but i've known him for years so phuck paying!) Hopefully that'll get my gameplay back to par.


^ No idea I stopped playing for 5-6months and my acc got hacked + perma banned so had to make a new account and start again which I did yesterday, Just keep losing to dumb sh!t but my micro etc seems fine. I guess my lack of scouting is costing me all these games, something to look at in replays I s'pose
