edit - oh and the female bodybuilders look great too, lol. I also wanna meet Dayana Cadeau this year, I hope I get too. She seems really nice. She also has great stage presence(also why I'd like to see her win).
I know some folks don't care much for bb competitions but I've always been a fan of the sport so the first time I went I was star-struck. These folks were like celebrities to me. I met tons of folks I never thought I'd meet and had only read about in magazines! Hope you definitely get to go to a show sometime.

Dark horse...
I'm putting Bonny Priest in the top 3 this year.
I haven't seen her since I left for Iraq in July, but I talked to her the other day. She said she's bigger, badder and more ripped than last year when she finished 4th. She's more confident in her physique than she's ever been, so I guess we'll see on Friday!

I definitely and totally agree with you, stealth_swimmer. Attended the first four Arnold Classics and had my picture taken with the Oak himself. Talk about your thrill. Also got a pic taken with Lenda Murray (I know you must know who she is ) and Kathy Unger (no longer competing, unfortunately), as well as other bodybuilding celebrities. Fun! And inspirational as well.

heh Well, I'd be happy to see Dayana, Iris, Annie, Lisa, Heather or any other totally in shape and sensational competitor take the title, but my heart's set on Yaxeni winning this year. We shall see.
(AND IN JUST A SHORT WAIT, TOO!!! )

Same here. That first Arnold was like a breath of fresh air. ALL those fans of bodybuilding whereas in "every day life" I consider myself a frigging mutant as no one even knows it's a sport much less able to speak about the competitors by name. Suddenly you're surrounded by fans of bodybuilding, your eyes are assaulted (in a good way) by a bajillion vendors and "muscle celebs" as well as the contests, seminars, general sight-seeing. A total BLAST!

Did that crazy guy go and get a sex change? What some people won't do to win a title.

If I'm not mistaken Denise Rutkowski works at the Gold's gym in Wyomissing...I work out there a couple times and I swear it looks like her.

Oooh, you even spelled her name right! heh
Kudos!
And, hey, that would make a lot of sense. If I recall correctly, Rutkowski is from Reading, Pennsylvania which is a neighbor to Wyomissing. I thought she was in California and then Texas. I hope she's doing well wherever she is.
Oh, and GOOD LORD, MAN! Politely ask her! Kudos to you also on respecting her privacy, of course. But I'd definitely find it difficult to contain myself given the same situation you find yourself in, CloudSurfer.
