WOW, thanks you girls. You know how make a girl feel good! I was suffering from a little post-show depression yesterday (being hungover didnt help). I hate that feeling. But this morning after having my eggwhite shake and some coffee I'm ready mentaly to get back i the diet game!
I put on #2.5 of water weight. Hopefully I can keep that in check. Some of the water weight could have come from my fish (two meals) yesterday that were very high salt. I could not drink enough water yesterday - thirsty ALL day. And going potty all day too!
The diet will remain the same as it was. alternating hi-low carb days and throwing in a "huge steak, potato and salad with the all the fixin's" day once a week. I "should" harden up considerably.
As far as my contest prep, Tina and I did our usual two glasses of wine thing the night before. The difference though was that I was with Tina.....and we were drunk.....
I think next show, I will just sip on my wine and not try to socialize with everybody in the hotel!
When we got home yesterday Bill ran down to Oktoberfest with a friend. So when he got home i got one last cheat - a big huge bavarian cream puff! There is not more junk food in our house. The last of it went home with Tina for her son. GAME ON TINA!!

First day back in the gym.
Back Day
Warmup - WG pullups - 2 sets of 12
WG Pulldowns - 90 x 15, 90 x 12, 80 x 12, 80 x 12
CG Pulldowns - 80 x 12 ( 4 sets)
WG seated cable rows - #70 x 12 ( 4 sets)
Cardio - 30 mins
I felt pretty strong the first day back, I should have upped the weight a bit.
Diet:
#1 - eggwhite shake
#2 - Tuna/sweet potato/1/2 grapefruit
#3 - Chicken, brussel sprouts
#4 - Fish, brussels
#5 - Chicken, greenbeans
I had to take slight break from the fish so I sub'd chicken for one of the fish meals.
Tomorrow its back to 2 fish, 1 tuna, 1 chicken and an eggwhite shake

Leg Day
Warmup with two sets of one-leg extensions
Sumo Squats - #65 x 15 ( 4 sets)
Leg Press - #180 x 15 ( 4 sets ) Slow down, fast up. Nice burn at the end
Leg extensions - #100 x 12, #90 x 12 ( 3 sets) I did these with a 2-3 sec pause at the top.
Cardio - treadmill - 3.7mph at 8% incline for 30 mins.
My fake tan is just starting to wear off a little so I've got the giraffe look going on on my thighs and inner arms. I worked on my posing today, taking a lot of pics and realized a fatal error in my back pose. Got that fixed now.
We finally got our concrete patio poured yesterday. (yard is a mud pit right now). So what happens? Bill lets one of the dogs get away from him so now we have doggy foot prints across our patio. But I'm ok with that. AND we FINALLY got some rain! Of course this just holds up the concrete guys up from fixing the yard.
I still am not rested up from last week. I'm so physically exhausted that I just might take a nap. I know it will screw me up sleeping tonight but I don't care.

Thanks! I love that pic too. I made an enlargement to frame.
No workout today. Its been a weird week. Friday was spent PT testing candidates for a full-time position with our dept. It was kinda stressful cause I'm having to fail people which denies them the possiblity for employment.
Today I took a holiday so I could attend a friend's wedding. Word on the street is he's having 5 different wedding cakes in addition to the main tiered cake - all diffent flavors! I'll tell you right now, I'm having a piece of cake! I know its wrong - but I did not do a hi-carb day this week cause I WILL be eating a piece of cake. Its a late afternoon wedding so I can get in a couple of good meals. They are serving chicken and I know the chef and how he prepares it so I can eat there! yay!
Then tomorrow round two of candidate testing. This is a whole new experience for me as a trainer. I tend to analyze (over) things so in a way I'm finding it interesting how different people react to failure and success. ....sigh....I think i might be lo-carb.....

I didn't settle on just one piece.....
I should have taken pics of the cake. Well, i do have one pic of the main cake.
You know you've been dieting for awhile when all your co-workers start snapping pictures of you eating a piece of cake! A couple of the guys were commenting that i'll be more pleasant to be around if I ate more cake. WTF? I took some pics, still haven't figured out how to post them in here but I'll try (vs clicking on a link)
So I go for a checkup with my trainer this morning. I've had such a busy week, I haven't had time to get in all my workuts. Between conducting firearms training and Pt training - aarrgghh! But my weight has pretty much just hung out at 138. I'd still like to drop a couple more #'s and a tad bit leaner for the next show.
I've also been working on myposing. I had some issues last show, mostly because I was so freakin' nervous.
well until I get this imageshak thing figured out - here's some pics from saturday.
Some cake pics and a pic of me and some of my co-workers at another co-workers wedding.
