Prayers Please
My aunt was rushed to the hospital yesterday morning with congestive heart failure, and pneumonia. Apparently, they found out yesterday, she only has one functioning kidney and it's not function all that well. They put her on dialysis last night, but things aren't looking too good. Any prayers would be appreciated!
Thanks!
Sean

Ugh, can't change the title now, but should have read "Prayers" not Prayer's. Anyway, any thoughts and prayers are appreciated!

Got it. Holy Father, please bless Sean's aunt and her family. May you give strength and wisdom to her doctors and may the entire family find peace and strength in you. Please keep her close Lord and walk with her as she faces this difficult time. May all sing Holy is your name, and it's in your son's name we pray, Amen.

lbm, she's in her late 50's. All three of her kids, my cousins, are younger than me. 20's and 30's. Last word I got from my mom was they may try to ween her off the ventilator tomorrow. She is breathing on her own, which is a good sign. However, no improvement with the kidneys. I'm going to head up to the hospital tomorrow. Thank you all again so much for the thoughts and prayers!! God bless you all!

As for an update...
I just got back from the hospital a little while ago. There is nothing new right now. They are supposed to remove the ventilator for a short period of time today to see if it's possible to take her off of it altogether. I went in to see her with my mom and she didn't look good at all. She's hooked up to every machine imaginable, at least it seems that way. It was very emotional to see her that way. All I could think about was if it were my mom. Very tough! I can't imagine how my cousins are feeling! Anyway, thank you all again for the thoughts and prayers! They truly are appreciated!!

Once again, I'd like to express my extreme gratitude to everyone for their thoughts and prayers!
Nothing really to update. I talked with my mom last night, after she got home from the hospital. She said there really isn't anything new. They still haven't been able to take my aunt off of any medications, but they have been trying over the last couple of days. I will probably stop in on my way home tonight to see how my cousin is and see if there is anything new.
Again, thank you all!

2 Corinthians 12:9 "My grace is sufficient, for my power is made perfect in weakness.. Each time he said, "My grace is all you need.
Dear God please bring comfort to all. Please heal this lady. Magnify your grace upon them. Dear God help all of us to remember you are just a breath away, and prayer away. It is within your strength we feel as we give our burdens to you because you have lifted them off our shoulders. During this situation please help the person who has requested prayer, and his family to bring glory to you God by their thoughts, and actions. Allow them to see you and the goodness in every situation. As it states in the bible, God makes good out of everything- that means everything. BTW I just wrote a thread yesterday and made a mistake in the title too.

Just talked to my mom. They have my aunt off the ventilator! They changed her meds a few days ago, so she has been much more alert. She's been able to squeeze her hand, and shake her head. With the tube out now she is able to talk, but they do not want her to. They want her to rest her vocal chords for a bit. She will be required to do dialysis for the remainder of her life, due to poor kidney function. Still don't have any information on the damage from the heart attack she suffered earlier in the week.
Thank you all so much for the prayers!!! Still have a long way to go, but this is really good news!
