CLA + Acne

I just started taking CLA, its been a week now. And I seem to be getting pretty bad ance, normally my skin is pretty good. Has anyone ever experienced this? I also started drinking coffee in the morning, but that was a bout 3 weeks ago, and I've never had that kind of reaction to caffeine before, so I don't think its that.

Please help. I'm going to stop taking for a week to see, but I wondered if this was common.

CLA also cause me to have acne breakouts but my workout partner
takes it and doesn't have a problem. Effects people in different
ways I guess! I haven't taken any in about a year.

I wonder if it might be the oil in the CLA you're using? They usually use safflower oil, which is largely omega 6 and therefore pro-inflammatory although you wouldnt be getting a whole lot in 3-5 softgels.

Maybe switch to a non-oily form like Clarinol, see if things improve:

Thanks guys. I'm going to stop taking it for about two weeks, see if things clear up. If so I'll try "V's" alternate.
