Question What do you mean whe you say T3's??

I've done a lot of reading through these threads and don't know that much about the roid lingo.
When you refer to T3's (usually combined with clenbuterol from what I can see) what is it?

To me a T3 is a tylenol with codeine...
So is there a difference?
What do the T3'd in conjunction with clen that makes it work that much better?
Just looking for clarification, thanks!

Cytomel is not an anabolic/androgenic steroid but a thyroid hor*mone. As a substance it contains synthetically manufactured liothyronine sodium which resembles the natural thyroid hormone tricodide-thyronine (L-T3). The thyroid of a healthy person usually produces two hormones, the better known L-thyroxine (L-T4) and the aforementioned L-trilodine~thyronine (L-T3). Since Cytomel is the synthetic equivalent of the latter hormone, it causes the same processes in the body as if the thyroid were to produce more of the hormone. It is interesting to note that L-T3 is clearly the stronger and more effective of these two hormones. This makes Cytomel more effective than the commercially available L-T4 compounds such as L-thyroxine or Synthroid

In school medicine Cytomel is used to treat thyroid insufficiency (hypothyroidism). Among other secondary symptoms are obesity, metabolic disorders, and fatigue. Bodybuilders take advantage of these charcteristics and stimulate their metabolism by taking Cytomel, which causes a faster conver*sion of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Bodybuilders, of course, are especially interested in an increased lipolysis, which means in*creased fat burning. Competing bodybuilders, in particular, use Cytomel during the weeks before a championship since it helps to maintain an extremely low fat content, without necessitating a hunger diet. Athletes who use low dosages of Cytomel report that by the simultaneous intake of steroids, the steroids become more effective, most likely as the result of the faster conversion of protein.

I see...

Persay, if a person was prescribed 50mcg of Cytomel every day, for 6+ weeks -- he would be in jepordy? Everything ive been reading here sofar states that Cytomel should be tapered down at 8 weeks MAXIMUM, and remain off for the same amount of time on... correct?

...I just really dont want to **** up my endocrine system. Reps for great info. Thanks.

Cytomel is NOT a drug that one should mess with- its serious and youre right to say that you dont want to **** up your endocrine system. It needs to be tapered on and off, and you can run it for longer than 6 weeks... Just be smart with it, be careful, start with 12.5mg once a day, increase eventually to 25mcg twice a day... over a long period of time. 50mcg per day is a high-ish dose, if youre leaning out for a show then I understand using it. If youre overweight and are just wanting to lose body fat, you have other options (diet, exercise, ECA etc)
