one of the most inspirational stories I've ever heard
I'll never forget it...what a fantastic message of love in our cynical, selfish world

nah man time and money are worlds apart. its almost like our value as parents is determined by the money we spend on our kids instead of the time we spend with them, but we both know thats ****ed. complaining about the cost of a kids bike is nothing. however, not teaching her to ride it or not riding with her is something to address. what that guy did for his son required far more time than money and that's what makes him a great father.

Absolutly agree with you on that. It was a bad reference, but I still maintain the never say no when she asks to do things with me.. Time spent with her is worth more than money could ever buy in stuff, I bought the bike so we could ride together.. That makes the memories she will keep when I'm gone.. not the things that I bought... (thats what I think I was trying to get at before, just did it badly)
