I'm engaged and I'm under the impression that people change and become unhappy when they get married. Married people only please. Are you happy you are married or not?

Not as happy. Was better before. Not fully unhappy, but if I had to choose I pick un.. People change when they get married. I wished I could have stayed engaged longer. That was the best. Commitment without change.

I lived with my wife for about two years before we got married I definetly recommend this. If you can do that not kill eachother and still are in love with each other you got it made. Im happy

Been married for 14 years and each year my marriage keeps on getting better. I don't know how but I've enjoyed every minute of it (even the hard times). I love my wife ... I couldn't imagine life without her.

I agree, i lived with my wife for 5 years before we married, i don't think anyone should marry without spending some substantial time living with their partner first.

I think that would shed a lot more light on how things may have changed for you pre and post marriage.

i have been married 7 years and it has been very good. i think it helps if you and your wife are best friends. i enjoy being around my wife and we like to do a lot of the same things. marriage is work though, if you don't work at it you will not grow and if you do not grow you will become stale and unhappy.

I will probably marry my gf. Been together for about 4 years and lived together for 2. She cooks for me, cleans for me, and does my laundry and I enjoy every minute of time spent with her. She also puts up with me leaving every so often for deployments and such. Which is a big factor in the Navy.

to the OP, married 11 years, known her for 2 years prior to marriage. Happy sometimes, depressed sometimes and not sexually satisfied....other than that marriage is good.... I would honestly recommend a root canal before marriage, partners change night and day when the ring goes on the finger....LOL

I ve been married for 2 years now and absolutely love it. And i have a 1yr old son too, which only makes things better. My wife stays at home with my son, but runs a dayhome. gets a ton of cash and is able to still spend the much needed quality time with my son thru the day.
