Healthy Fish
Fish is one of the favorite foods of many bodybuilders becasue of the protein content and healthy fats. However, bodybuilders are not the only ones to enjoy seafood and, as a result, many kinds of sea life are endangered or are being fished in areas that have a high mercury content in the water.
Here is a chart of what kinds of fish to consume, what kinds to consume in moderate amounts and what to avoid.

Thanks for the info. I eat alot of fish and I have lived on the west coast for awhile. Beaverton Oregon. I pretty much stopped eating red meat when I was there because the seafood was so good. Now that I am back on the east coast, I am missing the good seafood. However I do like fish still. I am going to have to find a market that I can get some of the west coast fish to consume.

The list is borderline ridiculous.
I'm not going to stop eating Atlantic Cod, Atlantic Flounder, or Atlantic Halibut. These are fish that are native to my geographical location, and it's much better for the environment to eat these fish than to fly/truck them in from the Pacific Ocean.

Man that sucks.....
There is hardly a thing on earth that tastes better than swordfish. Luckily, I can't afford it more that once or twice a year.

thats funny, every type pf fish i eat is on the "avoid" list. Tuna is endangered? I eat a lot of it. And ists so cheap. Would it not be much more expensive if it was endangered?

I'm surprised so many fishes are endangered. tuna, shark, shrimp, crabs are the ones that stick out.
I myself never ate fish. I was born a vegetarian. But even if I wasn't I couldn't eat it. As in the Hindu religion they say to avoid fish, as it stimulates dirty thoughts..
