Should i do a cut diet.????

Hi

I seem to be stuck with some unwantable fat.
Have been working out for about six months, weight training, cardio and running. (The running is quite new and only just started)

When should you apply a cutting diet ?? I have never done one before and was reading an article which had a really clean diet with about 5% carbs.

Thing is though i really want to build muscle as well, why do women have this fear of bieng big if i could have rather large muscly arms i would be well chuffed.

Current body fat is around 22% the aim is to get below 10%.
Current workout is as follows:

reps are mostly 3 sets 1st set 12 reps 2nd set 6 reps supersloww 3rd set 12reps

Day 1
Shoulder alt dumbell press
single arm lateral raise
barbell front raise
machine seated rear lat
dumbell shrugs

Day 2
narrow lat pull
full lat pull
straight arm pulldown
seated cable row
preacher dumbell curls
lying cable curls

Day 3 press ups
cable crossover
ball flat fly with twist
pullovers
dumbell overhead press
tricep kick back

Day 4
weighted step ups
jump squats
single leg lunge
flutter kicks
ball hamstrings high version.

I have only been doing this programme for about a week as my trainer updates and changes my programme around every 6- 8 weeks.

I want to get to a low bodyfat but dont want to lose the muscle that i have succeeded in building.

Smile Increase Muscle Drop Fat..

Well believe it or not, I lost weight eating more..odd huh?
I was 17% BF and 108, I was eating 1200-1400 calories a day. I couldn't drop below that point without starving myself AND loosing a lot of muscle.

My trainer has me eating 2300 calories (20% fat 40% pro 40% carbs), doing the same workout schedule, and I weigh 120 lbs and I'm 14.5% BF, this was within 2 months about.
I really responded to heavy lifting again..My stregnth grew so quickly and I started sweating again during workouts, and actually having an appetite.

Honestly I though I was setting myself up for failure, but so far I'm closer to my goal now then I ever was before..
Hope that helps!
