Getting stronger you're but bigger...
1) So I've been working out 4x/week since about February and I have gotten a lot stronger, however I have no gotten much bigger.
I was 6'0", 142 when I started lifting, I'm now closer to 148 but can lift more weight.
What gives?
2) Also, when I have my arms extended in front and my palms face up, the width of my bicep/tricep area is not too much. If I have my arm across my body, however, the upper arm area looks decent.
What gives?

Its because your still in the 140's at 6'0" wich is pretty small for the height, you just need to keep packing on the weight.

the fact that you are taller, will make it hard for you to get to that proportion that of lets say a shorter. That saying you will have to work twice as hard and eat twice as much to really see the results you want. don't let this discourage you. i have seen many succeed and come out on top.

answer? your 140 pounds.
add 250lbs to your big three total and eat more and gain 20 good pounds, then come back

Since you are just starting, most of that 6 pounds is water so you are not going to see a noticable difference...
Keep eting and lifting and you will notice a difference in no time
keep in mind too, strengh DOES NOT equal size and vice versa

X2
Height is a huge disadvantage in BB, but once you get that size it looks so much nicer onstage (if you compete, that is)
