I cannot for the love of god stand that Bull**** screaming music thats nothing but screaming.
Its getting hard to find any good music now..it seems like its all that Hip-Pop crap..i.e. Crank That, Party Like a Rockstar, Beautiful Girls, etc.
About the only "newer" bands I like are Avenged Sevenfold (Not there excessive screaming songs), Disturbed, and earlier Linkin Park..but do you really classify them as rock?
there's plenty of great music out there, you have to stop looking for it in radio though
Well...nickelback is the most popular band out there right now....so....I think its about time for rock music to just start over with a clean slate.

Stop listening to **** on the radio. You need to explore to find good bands. 85% of the good bands arent even really played on the radio.

they write boring, plastic, uncreative, unartistic pop music for the masses. Nothing about them is genuine or honest. Their music is shallow, empty and worthless in every way.
Just because it is catchy doesn't mean it is good.
Rush, RHCP , TOOL, Queens of stone age, maybe Smashing Pumpkins now, have done some good work but the main thing is the people prefer mostly pop music these days.

There are a few who saved rock. RHCP like already mentioned , And my Personal Favorite TOOL , they are a great band. Complex time sigs , deep lyrics , all around great musicians.

mine, on ocasion does. probobly why i like nickelback because some of the stuff they have done ive lived through. same with greenday and plain white-t's. it doesnt make them a bad band.
i have a thory that some people deal with depression by sinking further into it and fighting it, while some escape. i alwalys found sinking into it and listening to linkin park helped me fight though my problems
