standing/barbell
Just because I feel more comfortable doing them.
Also because my favorite exercise is the clean and jerk.
p.s. I am not much for confrontation and I am sorry to be a neigh-sayer if you really can but you do seem a bit twiggy to be able to do most of the things in your sig.(Demon)

I must say the results of the poll are pretty interesting so far....I kinda expected to see the seated exercises take the lead.

Anyways back to the topic ... a military press can only be done standing with a barbbell and a very strict form... everything else is an overhead press.

I'd bet it's close. He looks pretty thick from his rear double bi shot on his page.
But yea your numbers don't look right to me but whatever, I can bench more then you and leg press way more then you but you can lat pulldown twice as much as me even though I have no problem doing pullups/chins + a 45lb plate for reps, your leg extension is 100lbs more then mine, your shoulder press is stronger then most guys with 40lbs on you. Speaking of which how is your shoulder press stronger then your bench?

At least you have an avitar. I wouldn't give any thought to a critique from someone who is smaller with no pics up.
To change your avi, click on your pic, and then click on [edit profile picure] when you get into bodyspace.

I prefer seated, as it allows the maximum amount of weight moved with back support.

X2 most people dont know that. for a military press the bar is supposed to come all the way down to your front delts, in front of your neck. , and your feet are supposed to stay together.
if youre not doing that, youre just doing a standing overhead press. if youre only lowering the bar to your chin or eyes or to 90 degrees or whatever, your also not doing the exercise correctly.

I prefer standing with a barbell and doing a partial clean and press.

how can u press more than u bench i find that wierd. i'm benching about 30kg more than i press and ive allways been like that.
although to stick to the topic i prefer doing standing with a babrbell but recently i have been doin seated with a barbell and i seem to be making better gains but i cnt push those extra reps out cos i'm sitting down and dnt use my core as much. which i dnt like.

I prefer seated military presses. They're stricter than the standing version and tend to isolate the delts more.
