Any good magazines aimed at women?
Please could someone recommend any good magazines aimed at women? I've been reading Body Fitness but it seems to be aimed more at guys. I'm sick of "flowery" womens mags like Zest telling me to eat a lettuce leaf, touch my toes and run along a beach for a few hours. I wanna lift some weights!!

There is a Women's Muscle and Fitness, which I really liked (found one issue at Walmart and haven't seen it since) and I really like Oxygen too.
This month's Oxygen has an ab workout with Monica Brant and the cover model is Melissa Hall and a butt workout with Stacy Cravens..and girl, these women have got the muscle!

I tend to prefer Oxygen. Fewer ads, more articles.

Personally, I think Oxygen is HORRIBLE and tends to contradict themselves often. Some of the diets of these competitors are incredibly unrealistic and gives many girls false information about what they "should" be doing. Everyone has different needs. Other than that the only thing its good for is letting us ladies know how many fat burners there are to buy in their 'Six Page Ad Reports'.
If you were to buy anything. Muscle & Fitness HERS would be the best bet. It is more factual, and tends to give information for ladies who are more advanced in bbing.

Agreed. Although I wouldn't say oxygen is horrible, I think HERS is much MUCH better.

I'm in the same predicament when it comes to browsing the magazine aisle. I usually end up reading my fiance's Muscular Development instead.
Fitness RX isn't bad. Women's Health usually has at least one or two articles worth reading as well. I've got to find this Muscle and Fitness Hers!
