sizeon doing 5x5 log

i finished my tub of storm and wasn't that impressed so i stepped up to sizeon....doing this more for myself to keep my stats up and focused
i had gained 4lbs in my 40 servings of storm, so far in the 4 days on sizeon 4lbs more

started 04/08/2007..local highschool gym was closed until 04/11/2007 so i have been taking it at bedtime until last night

04/11/2007(overall good workout with very little sleep, have 8 1/2month old son had to take to e.r 1:30am, went to the gym at night instead of my 530am routine...didn't feel as strong as i normally have felt but i attribute that to the lack of sleep...completed another day on the 5x5 without a hitch
good pump which was not something i was getting from the storm.

04/13/2007 530am workout: breakfast: cream of wheat, 25g whey isolate protein shake, sizeon shake during workout....didn't have time to complete ab exercises...benched the most i have ever done on free weights 190x3..could have completed at least another 2 maybe 3 reps...huge pumps for at least an 1hr after working out...good energy throughout the workout, vascularity present, and my arms measured slightly over 16inches after workout slightly over 15.25 pre-workout...so far i am loving the stuff...not bad taste wise and i love i don't have to consume another serving once i am done because my stomach is usually pretty full once i consume my 50g of protein post workout shake..i had some doubt that i would be able to get this far in the 5x5 workout and i am definitely happy with the progess so far...weight was unchanged at 175

during workout-sizeon, after workout 50g whey protein isolate

completed the most ever on my bench, row, and squat...very pumped and focused...i had a spotter for the bench and didn't need it...felt good and could have gone for a few more...definitely getting stronger, feeling more confident in myself..doubted i could complete this workout to this week...i continue to be hungry to complete this as far as i can go, posted pics of myself so far

i got some feeback to start cutting so i am unsure whether i can with this program, i am sure it prob isn't designed for it...so i will have to do some research. weight stayed the same at 175 maybe slightly under but i am sure if i had finished my shake i would have been 175....excited about progress can't wait till wednesday

day off of lifting so i completed some cardio.....20min on the treadmill, mixed it between 5.0mph on 2% grade for 2 min then increase to 6.mph for a lil then bump up to 8mph then back it down to 4mph 4% grade and continued this until 20min was up...people were waiting so i was limited to 20min...i need some oblique muscles to show, so i will be looking for some exercises for them to do on cardio days...well the feedback i got from a lot of people said to cut but there were some others who said to continue to bulk...so i think since the 5x5 is working i will continue that and eventually when i hit a stand still i will go to a cut...i am going to start cutting back a little on my carbs...not a lot but i will see if this can help and not effect my progress..if it does then i will resort back to how i have been doing it

04/19/2007 5:30am cardio workout preworkout, 25g protein, sizeon...man i hate cardio day...i don't have much because my legs are always still a little tender from squats 3x's a week...another exercise that i use to not always do on a regular basis but got to do them now...noticed my weight was up 1lb...so that is good...didn't want to do more than that because of squats tomorrow and i didn't want anything to prevent me from increasing in weights tomorrow...can't wait for Friday's workout, i want to see my new max increase in everything and i love to work the bi's/tri's

jogged 1 mile around the track

walked 1 mile around the track

ran fast pace 1/2 mile around

04/27/2007 5:30am workout. bowl of oatmeal, 25g protein of matrix cookies n cream shake, sizeon during workout and 50g whey afterwards followed with a banana. i had good focus going in to today's workout. about the 3rd set into squats i seemed to have pulled something in my thigh, but i made it through w/out any more problems. the bench i hit the 200lbsx3 plateau which i have strived for so this is very exciting...however the 200lbs today felt lighter than the 195lbsx5 on monday's workout so go figuire...i feel i can get 5 reps monday. the barbell rows were fine today no problem...did some accessory work, changed it up a bit, 2 set of barbell curls, 3 sets skull crushers, 1 set alternating dumbell curls, 1 set of preacher curls follwed by 3 sets of dips...man did this workout today kick my ass....just what i wanted though...measured bicep last night and i have gained so that is promising...huge pumps todays.....love this stuff!!!! weight no change still 177lbs..here are the stats from today

squats

bench

well this was the finish of my sizeon tub, for working out...i have about 2 more servings left and they will be done over the weekend on my off days. i am going to be running x-factor now along with animal pump(the last creatine i have yet to try that are always talked about on this site)...i must say that i am 100% satisfied with this product. it tasted good, delivered results and i would certainly recommend this to anyone. this is the best creatine i have tried to date....also i am very satisfied with the strength i have been getting from the 5x5 program...i have put on a few pounds and definitly went up in my bench, squat, row, incline bench....again couldn't be more happy...now that summer is fast approaching i am going to be going to a split of

chest/tri-mon
cardi/abs-tues
bi's/back-wed
cardio abs-thur
shoulder/lats/legs-fri

i hope to now get the body fat% down and have some nice definition....

Nice log so far, your bench increased a good amount in 20 days!

I've never ran a 5x5 before but I hear good things about it for a bulk process. What are your thoughts on the 5x5 compared to pyramiding?

appreciate it bro, i did this because it was recommended by everyone who used it...my strength was great with this and if i had a better diet when i could eat more i would have gained prob better...in comparison to pyramiding, which i am doing kind of now for 10,8,6...if you are looking for strength and strength only i would def go with the 5x5...as far as that feeling tight, more pumped looked i like doing this 10,8,6 because what i was finding out was i had gotten up to 200 on my bench for 5x's but if i tried to do 175 10x's i couldn't...so now my stats are like i warm up with 135x10, then 185x10, 190x8, 200x6 my weights def went up quicker doing the 5x5 but like i said i want all of my fast/slow twitch muscles worked...so i would recommend doing it for as long as you are seeing results and then when you plateau then switch to something else! but it is def a good feeling when your weights are going up every week
