do u think the satanic/demon clouds in WTC smoke were a coincedence?
i was bored so i was trying to look uppics of the devil and a bunch of 9/11 stuff came. i already knew about this for years and yes its old, but do you think those were real from a moment of terror and evil, or do you guys just think it was imagination like how the clouds in the sky can resemble things? the pics seem preetty damn clear to me!

The second link is even funnier than the first.. he is seeing all sorts of **** in there. Yes, it is just coincidence. Your brain is a pattern matching machine.. it is built to see patterns in everything. You can see a chair that you've never seen before and know it is a chair because your brain matches it to a pattern. Faces are one of the most complex patterns our brains match and it is common to see human face representations in unrelated ways.

Problem is, just because someone SAYS that they haven't been altered, doesn't mean they haven't.
The one with the supposed little "devil" has been altered - or I'd be REALLY surprised if it hasn't! 
People see what they want to see - trick of the light, shadow on the cloud. We don't see it at first because it's split second, but it's only when they go looking for stuff that you'll see it. I can go in my back garden now and stare at the clouds and see stuff like hippos and lions and that - doesn't mean it's actually there.

Sorta the same thing, if you know what your looking for and are looking for it, you can find something.

why would the devil appear for less than a whole second and then dissapear? You'd think if he was powerful enough to appear in the smoke at all that he would of done it for longer than that. The pictures are retarded, the dude saw like ****ing 4people in 1 picture, dudes seeing freaky ****.

Perfect example is when I listened to this song by sigur ros before I knew who they were. I made out all the lyrics pretty much, only later to realize that sigur ros is a foriegn group and on that particular album they just sang using syllabols and there was no lyrics to interpret.

I think some people are seeing things with some of those images. I'll agree that it does look like a "demonic" face in the smoke in the first picture. But I think saying there is a tail and pitchfork is stretching it quite a bit. As far as the 2nd pic goes, I tried and can't even pretend I see anything.
I remember seeing these images shortly after the footage was aired on CNN. I have no idea whether or not it's altered footage. I wonder if it was, wouldn't somebody have caught it by now? And the whole demonic face strikes me as weird. The whole idea of the devil having horns, a pointed tail, and pitchfork is a man made idea that was created years ago. There is nothing in organized religion (that I know of) about the devil looking like that.
I try to never discount anything but this all just seems weird. It definately gave me a creepy feeling, whether it was man made or otherwise.

You've raised some interesting points here, but some of you really should read the first two paragraphs on the page. My own view is that we are predisposed to recognise faces and everything on my "face" pages follows on from that.
smokeater raised an interesting point about the devil as an icon. Then again there are plenty of images of Christ, God and other religious persons and entities around and no-one knows what they look like either. There's the old joke about God revealing himself to mankind and she's black!

I don't know why nationality entered into the thread, but I'm British and I've lived in the US for about 4 years. I was actually due to arrive in Chicago on 12th September 2001 but you can guess what happened. I've no plans to change my citizenship.

I think it would be stranger if the images resembled my counselor or a bus driver. G-D has a strange way. What i mean is it's funny so many devils and Jesuses appear and so few bus drivers or teachers etc...
