1 - Dog
I have a daschund and he is black and tan on his stomach and legs. The first thing I though when I saw him was he was black and carmel colored and since he was a male he had n*t$. So of course we had to call him Snickers. Now that he is fixed, maybe I should change his name to Milky Way...

I have two English Springer Spaniels, Willie and Riley. I recently lost Willie's father, Fred, who was pushing 17 years. Very traumatic, considering how good a friend he was, and the times of my life he had spent with me. I buried him up on top of a hill overlooking a lake on my uncle's farm, ground where we had spent much time when younger, in pursuit of always-elusive pheasants. Next to him is buried his mate, Sweetie, whom he outlived by two years. I still have a real hard time whenever I pass the spot, and see the two collars hanging on the fence, slowly swinging back and forth and keeping time in the soft Iowa breeze......

99% of the time a leg that starts bowing ( looks like the dog is gonna be walking on the top of the foot) is simply a calcium deficiency. I had a bulldog that was BAD. calcium supplement and within a few days good as new.

Pets. Yup.
I had three great danes with the ex. My pride and joy. Lost those when she hit the road. Now Married to another Vet Tech (that's what I am) and we currently have 1 pit/boxer "Maxwell T. Bulldog", 2 crusty old cats "Spooky and Cali" and two horses "Kharli Khemosabi" and newly added "Commanche". Just gave the pit/lab to my brothers' family and waiting for my dane pup to arrive.

The dogs are Chalie, the Boxer and Benny teh Freskimo, otherwise known as a 1/2 French Bulldog and 1/2 Spitz.
Bottom pic is Emmy cat, named after the WW2 1/2 Track because at 3 days she was climbing out of the Moosehead crate we kept her in, lol!! M didn't like the idea of a cat named M-9. I hate it when teh General pulls rank on me.
All of them are rescues, we recently lost Sparky, our black cat to cancer.

We have (in order of oldest to youngest)...
Iggy - a Meyer's (Meir's?) parrot.... approx 15 years old
Buddy - loveable mutt, part collie, part shepherd, part something small 11 yo
Bailey - tuxedo cat, formerly neighborhood stray ... about 7 yrs old
Mac - dutch rabbit, approx 1 yr old ......... they all get along just fine (cat finds no "sport" in going after housepets, as opposed to stalking wild birds and rabbits on the farm out back....bird takes no crap from anyone or anything - he's aggressively defensive for a lil shat.....rabbit is, well, your avg rabbit, and the dog is everybody's friend - he pays no mind to the bird nor rabbit and the cat is his friend by default) A busy household full o' critters
