O/T Anyone have pets?
As I just posted in BH's Bike thread, I have two dogs-Missy, a Shiloh Shepherd, and a 3 pound rescue maltese named Angel.
We have a Cat, Pumpkin (yes, she's black, and we got her on Halloween)
We have 2 birds, An Orange winged Amazon, named Agador Sparticus (if you've ever seen "Birdcage")
and a cockatiel named Moonsilver.
I also love reptiles-I have Patrick, a blue tongued Skink, and Henry, a Bearded Dragon.
Anyone else have pets?

I have a Jenday Conure named Rio (my lovable little monster) and a cockatiel (a kooky bird, happy in his own little world) named Giant. Both adopted from other people. When I am home Rio will go to no one else, except my 20 year old nephew, and calls and carries on unless he can see me. Giant couldn't care less. I lost my baby, my cat Toby Ann in March 2006 due to Chronic Renal Failure, at 16 1/2 years old. I still miss her badly.

Nope, not any more. I travel a lot and they tie you down. Besides, I'd hate to have a loving pet and croak before it did.

I have/am owned by 2 birds. A female cockatiel about 15 years old, and a male ringneck parrot about 6 years old. It's funny how he follows her around when she goes wandering around the house. Yes, they are supervised when out of their cages.

Funny... I'm laughing outloud as I read this. As you get older you sure think about time differently.
Friend of mine said, "For gosh sake I wouldn't even get a puppy. I need a dog as old as I am in dog years (7 to 1). That way we might be better buddies, since we'd both have similar ailments."
I laughed and said, "Where are you going to get a 10+ year old dog".

I love animals so my kids definitely take advantage of that fact. I have a boxer named Yoshi, a boston terrier named Daisy, a 1 1/2 year old cat named Luna and a Devon Rex cat, that is about 4 months old, named Simba. Oh yeah, and two big Russian turtles, some assorted fish and a bearded dragon lizard.............

I've got a black and white cat named Mimi who a friend of ours gave us about a year or so ago. She instantly became part of the family, and is nice enough to share her personal bed with us...granted, it was mine and my wife's bed before Mimi got her and commandeered it, but she still lets us sleep in it.
Isn't she just sweet?

We have 1 house dog, his name is Buddy. A rare breed, he is. So rare he's the only one. LOL. Thats what we tell everybody. Hes a terrior mixed with who knows. A good dog.
We also have a great pyrenees that keeps gaurd over our goats.
We presently have 9 goats.
Also 2 farm kitties that take care of the mouse population.
and I cant forget the 13 chickens that give us fresh eggs every day.
