Reps 4 anyone that can tell me the name of the song Ronnie was listening to on his way to TGIF in his SUV. The scene where he has the little 5" LCD screen up and it's dark out. It's in Part 4 about 1/3 way through.

definitely not, sure he runs a good bill on food, but he gets $150,000 for winning the "O", and it would be mighty hard to eat $150,000 worth of food, even at that size.
Also, it may seem like hes not eating that much cause its only 6 meals (2 of which are shakes), but look at that PWO shake, its 7 scoops of syntha-6, and those are monster scoops too, so it could easily be 8-10 scoops, so that protein shake has atleast 1400 calories in it, thats one big *ss shake

He's an 8 time champ, he does what he has to do win in one of the most demanding sports out there. And last I heard about Haney, Yates, Arnold and all those guys they weren't exactly bored after retiring, they seem to stay busy, one has a gym, the other has a supplement company and one is the Governor of a rather large state. And try not to forget the man graduated Cum laude from his school in Accounting, then became a police officer, then Mr. Olympia. He doesn't sound too simple to me, but your comment did.

On his pre contest diet he gets in the video it calls for 90 grams of isopure. Yet he still uses Syntha 6 which has 15g of carbs per serving.

I haven't seen "Relentless" yet but could you explain this? Is this pre-contest diet some type of a program drawn up for Ronnie by Chad Nicholls or someone?

Education has nothing to do with sophistication. Grambling is one of the worst schools in the state, and nobody but Ronnie knows why instead of becoming CPA, he chose law enforcement (at a low level, too) as his career.
Looking through his house, you won't find a book or any evidence that he's enculturated himself somewhat in the various countries he visited as a guestposer (i.e. memorabilia/artifacts, photographs, anything at all). Outside of lifting weights and eating, he doesn't evince much intelligence. Why this causes so much controversy is unclear...not everyone is cut out to be a clever thinker on the cutting edge. He's good at what he does, and should be given credit for doing it better than anyone else. Beyond that, who cares?

What he does lack, however, are good manners and common courtesy.
A grown man who dumps rice on the table like a 4-year-old manifesting his dislike for chunks of tomato in his rice or fails to say 'thank you' or 'please' to his hosts at the various eateries he frequents doesn't garner much in the way of respect from others.
Even in his CoR video, he autodials the Black Eyed Pea from his carphone and just hollers out "Beth? It's Ronnie. Can you put my food on?" through the receiver. No p's and q's for Ronnie.

How many times does he apply the KC? Every flip and he uses the reccomended serving... There's better bbq sauce out there!

Im well aware of where Grambling is ranked, I went to Northwestern U in IL, top ten, so what? Im smart enough to know that dummies graduate from both (not me of course). So rank can kiss my A*s. The mayor of Chi. failed the bar 3 times, and speaks like a retard, but he sure as a hell of a political grip on the city.
My point is that just because someone may seem simple means little. Few idiots become Mr. O, it requires a lot of soul searching, lot of thought. Chairman Mao (founder or Modern day China) ate like Ronnie, never brushed his teeth and never bathed, but for all that peasant exterior his mind was always turning. Read a little more about Ronnie and how he interacts with businesses, and co-competitors and you may realize your smug attitude is unwarranted.
As far as how he eats, people of African descent like seasoning. We grow up with it, and consider how northern Europeans eat to be so bland as to warrent death. No. europeans think we over season. Big deal. The sauce he uses is cheap, why get the good stuff, if it cost more and you know you use the stuff like most Americans use salt. I doubt Victor Martinez or Darrem Charles or any of those guys eats as bland as Cutler. And if they do it is beyond torture to them.

It's incredibly simple. There is nothing special about it.
That he would pay someone to tell him to cut back on carbs and eat a lot of protein in order to lose weight is baffling.
And he probably only uses the Syntha during his precontest diet for the video shoot (no need to give Nature's Best any more of a free plug). There is a bucket on Isopure on the counter behind him.

I've also heard/read that black bodybuilders require more seasoning on their nutritional plans than white bodybuilders. They also have different genetics insofar as muscle quality (i.e. superior) and ability to gain it is concerned, so I'm not going to dispute that. Personally, I would be ill if I had to eat Ronnie's diet for 3 days straight, whereas Jay's is almost identical to mine.
As for his IQ, nobody knows what it is. It's not related to his profession, so it shouldn't matter. But, to say he's among the more intelligent (because he knows how to be Mr. Olympia) guys in the IFBB would be an exaggeration. He's mastered dieting and training to a science, no question. But, outside of that he struggles to string 2 words together in interviews when the subject digresses off of bodybuilding. Maybe he just doesn't like talking?
I can tell, you instance, that you're both more cerebral and have a far stronger grasp of the English language than he does, based on your last post. His replies on *********.net's board are usually 1-2 sentences, peppered with ellipses and badly structured in general. Sometimes he doesn't even complete them. =(
His brain isn't as fresh as a guy in his late 20s, I guess.

LOL Good point at the bottom. As to genetics, get out of here! When is the last time you saw a black guy with the graininess of Dorian or Gasparie (did I spell that right)? But no one talks about that. And you think Dexter Jackson wouldn't mind some "white boy calves or white guy low inserting lats?" You rarely see great calves on black guys (exception Dickerson and Vince Taylor) or Low Lats. So it's a give and take, with genetics. You simply work with what you got. The onlye people who should complain about genetics are Somalians and Ethipians, but then they seem to dominate in other venues.

Good thing you didn't put your age as 30 or something, or I'd have felt pretty bad for you.

Ethiopians murder at relay and marathon running, for sure.
Black bodybuilders (without wanting to overgeneralize) seem to have high calves, high-inserts for their lat muscles, and a lack of grainy-looking skin when they're tight.
On the other hand, they also seem to have vascularity, muscle separations, and specific body parts (chest and arms especially) on lock. I work out at the largest gym in Canada, and it has its share of bodybuilders of all races. The black ones generally do have 'better' quality muscle than the white ones. The cuts, for instance, in the arm separation bi/tri are much more pronounced in them than ours. A lot of them are naturally lean, also, and even the fatter black guys look ripped when they're pumped - but that's the illusion of vascularity. When I'm tanned, I look leaner/harder than when I'm pale, and obviously they're dark all year, so that also helps. I'd say strength-wise and in terms of how hard they train, it's about equal. You can't get big unless you work your ass off, regardless of your genes/race.
So, like you said, no one race has bodybuilding genetics perfectly worked out, but it's safe to say that the IFBB is dominated by black athletes in this era (as opposed to Arnold's or earlier). Still, you get guys like Dennis Wolf, Jay (obviously), Dorian, and Branch Warren...who bring a lot to the table.

Hex, you know better than use one specimen as an example for a whole group of people. No other black bodybuilders look like that either, that's why Ronnie is Ronnie. Take Vic martinez, he will never be that vascular. Nor Dex, Darrem or anyone else. But now Ill go and look and find one. Damn!

These are the black pro bodybuilders I know of that have insane vascularity, unrivaled by any white bodybuilders (to the best of my knowledge). It's not a full list, just some examples other than Ron:
DJ
Paul

Your head is empty fool ---> he's lived more in 8-10 years of BB than you ever will in your entire life-time......8 Mr Olympia podiums, millions of fans, travelled all over the world, seen and experienced countless world destinations, worked out in many great gyms, met 1000's of unique and interesting people, inspired hundreds of thousands, recognised wherever he goes.....so that in itself is enough!
Furthermore, if Ronnie has the will, intelligence and nounce to get to the top in BB, somehow I just think he'll be able to translate that into a fullfilled life after he retires.....
you're such a dumb SH*T!

Serge Nubret had low insertions....
And the separation and V-taper....FTW.
Im white(Italian/Hungarian) and from a young age identified that WEST African blacks had the best physiques of those I was around on a daily basis.....sure it is give and take and there are some freakish white guys and Arab guys out there....Arnie and Samir Bannout being notable....but by and large I kind of am shocked even as many competitive BBers are white at the highest levels as there are.....
Just my opinion...I guess I like the freaky taper and the separation over thick ankles and low insertions....probably just a matter of taste to be honest.
Gotta say to the laymen (im not interested too too much in the judging criteria of the sport at highest levels) when I look at someone like Layne and then look at some big black guys at my local gym the black guy many times looks better.
