Movies tonight... what can I eat?
I'm normally very good about my diet, but I have a sweet tooth like no other. I also love popcorn, pretzels, etc.
Anyway, I'm hitting up the Bourne Ultimatum tonight at 10, and there's no way in hell I'll be able to go to the theater and not snack on something.
My question is, what do they offer that's even reasonably healthy? I'm sure I'll get a diet soda of some sort, but what else? Please don't suggest bringing some cottage cheese to the theater with me or something, that's just ridiculous.
Thoughts, asap.

the theaters I go to don't have a damn thing that's healthy. not anything.
Idk if this is anything you had in mind, but you could air pop some popcorn and sneak it in.
I didn't know if the cottage cheese comment was for sneaking something in or just the type of food....but if you haven't a problem with sneaking in something...popcorn is always good for movies, and airpopped is not a bad food - certainly better than their fake butter and cheese nastiness they serve.

Dude, if you eat healthy all the time, a couple of snacks at the movies for one night is fiiiine. Brush it off as a cheat.

Think that's what I'll do. I'm currently at 6'3 and 193 lbs and 14% body fat, so I guess a cheat wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
For some reason though, whenever I do eat like **** I REALLY feel it. I honestly feel like I weigh 240 lbs after eating some candy at the theater. It's all mental I think, but still... pretty annoying.

I don't think it's mental. Your body rebels when you are clean and put junk in. You can afford a cheat, so it basically up to you...feeling like crap when you eat junk food is a sign of true health.

x2 call it a cheat and have a good time...but if you are REALLY that worried about it, then just eat a meal right before u go, so u arent hungry during the movie...
its funny though, cause the theatres around me are trying to get into the whole "healthy eating" market...they even sell vegetable mixes (baby carrots, broccoli, cucumber, and baby tomatoes) w/ dip...i mean, minus the ceaser dip, you are ok...dunno if i could hammer down much of the broccoli, with nothing on it, but the rest wouldnt be so bad.

I know what you mean....i just came back from seeing that movie...all i have to say is, THAT WAS ONE SICK ASS MOVIE..lol...i love Matt Anyhow, today i brought celery sticks with me...last time i went i took with me air popped popcorn. You can bring what you want in trust me, no one checks these days. Way better you bring your own than buy from there.
Some options are;
Veggies
trail mix
sunflower seeds
home made pop corn or POWER POP pop corn has 10 grms of protein in it
granola
protein bar
