Yeah, I can't wait to start my first run of USPLabs products, I'm actually going to go pick up my package after work today (they always try to deliver while I'm at work). There will definitely be a log for anyone who's interested in checking it out.

Application for USPLabs Rep
I want to start by thanking USPLabs and Mr. Aries for this opportunity. I am interested in applying for the position of board rep for USPLabs for a few reasons.
First, I have a genuine interest in the supplement industry and the health/fitness arena. I have always been interested in the use of naturally occurring compounds for physical, mental, and health aid. Since I currently hold a science degree and am continuing my studies in graduate school, I am often interested in learning about the mechanisms behind specific supplements and have the knowledge to understand these processes. I am always interested in learning about new supplements, questioning their efficacy, and trying them out for myself. I would like to think that I have been helpful already to some people on this board and outside of it, and this position will help me to reach others as well.
Second, we are all interested in bodybuilding and working out or we would not be here. Since coming to this board, I have gained a lot of insight into training routines, diet and nutrition. Because of this, I have become more serious about my training and am hoping one day to be in good enough shape to compete. I have attended a few bodybuilding competitions now, and hope to see many more.
Finally, I feel that I would be a good fit with USPLabs. This company is up and coming and already has received a good deal of attention (some controversial), as well as several accomplishments. As I am hoping to get into this industry, it would be beneficial to be part of a growing company so that I can help and grow with it. Also, this company is known for bringing unique products to the market and is constantly evolving - most notably with it's latest branch "Pure Supplements" and even with it's exploratory product line. I like a company that is willing to take chances with new supplements to see what works and what demand is out there.
Again, there is a great list of applicants already so either way USPLabs will have another great addition on it's hand. I may not be the most well known, but I have the desire and drive to be part of this industry and if given the chance I know I would be able to make significant contributions. Good luck to everyone.

This person CAN be a newcomer to the boards, but should not be a newcomer to the game. I'm not going to be politically incorrect and say that you better look like you can at least hoist a 10lb dumbbell over your head, but I do hope that your physique is somewhat on par with your verbal skill.
Please post in this thread if you are interested. I dont' have an application to post, because most answers are not the ones I care about. If you think you are qualified, tell me why..
Btw, 2 sentences will not convince me that you are qualified..
Thanks guys and I hope I see some good candidates willing to step up. We have a few new items due to come out over the next 2-3 months, and I can use some help.

Wow, this is great for everyone involved. Someone who cares about the boards and this forum in a position of power with a company that has a unique line of products. It was Mr Aries who convinced me to give AP a try, and what can I say...I like the product. I wish I had more time in the day or I'd apply for this position, it's just hard for me to get on here for more than 30-45min a day. Best of luck to John, and whomever the lucky rep he picks. Congrats!!

I couldn't believe you didn't get the Palo gig, hopefully USP will scoop you up and you'll come out even better than if Palo did chose you.

Thanks man. I'm not really upset with the PAL gig, because Matty and Warbird are 2 great guys who I think will be big assets to Dave and PAL. I'm really happy for the two of them (serious).

My Info
Name
Robin Williams
Height
6'2
Weight
190lbs
Age
18yrs old
My training background & experience
I weighed a mere 140lbs the cold wintery December i started almost 2yrs ago. I quickly became intrigued with bodybuilding after seeing a local competition. I began my training not knowing much, and just going by what i felt like doing for the day. That first year of training i slapped on 40+ lbs of weight. As my training became more and more organized...I soon became stronger and stronger. My quest for peak performance has no end in sight, and i continue to get stronger and bigger eachand everyday. Now i even make my own routines to follow, and my results have been great thus far!
I currently do a 4 day split(upper body push, upper body pull, lower body quad dominant, and lower body hamstring dominant), with some cardio and abs thrown in on Saturdays & Sundays.
Why i should be selected
I believe that I would be an excellent online board rep, especially for USP Labs. I am honest and unbiased, and I am not a product pusher(nor pimper).
I really believe that diet/training/rest come before the use of any supplements. I have recently started helping people with setting up their own routines, and diets so they may progress and reach whatever goals they may have. I love helping people in any way shape or form. If i can help...i'm there!
I am on this board daily(im here for good now..no more leaving), and I would be more than happy to work as an USP Labs rep here on bodybuilding.com and where ever else i was needed. I'd be glad to answer any product questions that anyone may have either in pm's or in threads. I would never push a person into buying a product. I hold myself to higher standards now, and will forever more show the upmost respect when expressing my opinion on any given subject.
I would be very excited to be a USP Labs rep, and I would be motivated to help out more here. If you select me for the rep position, I can guarentee i would be a respectful, dedicated worker, who will only give unbiased opinions, and mainly help other out more.
I've tried many supplements in the past. I believe in solid science in a product. I love to research different products and I love the science behind supplements by. I think the science behind supplements is the most important thing, and I believe that by better understanding the research behind a supplement, one will be better able to understand how that supplement can work toward their advantage, and they may utilize it as such to work for them.
I have personally tried Anabolic Pump and Powerfull, and I have been happy with my results(although AP gave me the runs).
Once again i would love to represent such a fine company. I don't got much, but it's something...and i hope you would at least consider me for this position.
Off to work now! goodluck to everyone!

Can sexy chocolate and a jungle cat get along?
Just to expand that those chosen should have a firm grasp of training and nutrition(I'm sure John is a step ahead of me here but it's worth expanding on). To expand on John's vision, we are not looking for product "pimps" but individuals that can advise on how to implement supplements into a training and nutrition program.

SwolenONE: a clear choice:)
After talking this over with another member of the board, I decided this could actually be a better match for me than I had originally thought. With that said, here is my application, and thank you in advance for your time and the shot at this opportunity.
Age: just turned 20
Height and Weight: 6ft tall, usually 195-205 @ just under 10%bf. Currently 190 due to a nasty antibiotic messing me up (see my latest log), but that problem is being fixed as we speak.
Training Background:
I signed up to bb dot com as BallerPimp69 in 01, and only weighed 110ibs at 5'11", I am now about half an inch taller and have doubled my bodyweight while staying lean, actually getting faster at 40 yard dash, and going from the smallest weakest guy at my gym to the guy who helps the new gym members. I currently am aiming at getting my bench to 400, and my DL and Sqaut to 455---I plan to compete alongside my brother in law in a local CO PL meet or two in 08, when I have a chance of doing well.
I know fitness changed my life completely, and with that in mind it is my goal to let other enjoy the benefits of fitness as much as I do. Currently, I am renewing my PCT (personal training cert) with NASM, which is credited to be a much more advanced cert than ACE or ISSA (who I have also taken seminars with). It is my own opinion that anyone regardless of age or sex can drastically improve their life by adopting the fitness lifestyle (regardless of if they are interested in bodybuilding).
The journey from being TINY, and underweight my childhood to becoming the largest male in my family by the time I was 19 years of age was not easy and took a lot of dedication, but more than dedication it took knowledge. The greatest part about BBing and PLing in my opinion is that there is such a wealth of information to be found on the internet, and unlike some other communities the fitness community is full of individuals who look out for each other and support newcomers rather than discourage them.
I got my start on reading the Animal articles, then purchased Arnold's Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding and joined the forums in 01. I started with a subscription to FLEX, moved on the MD, and no longer read the magazines unless I'm in the grocery store as I currently have a greater understanding of nutrition and tailoring a training program to individual needs than any current BBing magazines go into depth about.
When I began training I dedicated each day of the week to a different muscle group, totaling 16 sets of 8-12 reps per muscle group, including traps. This gave me the incredible trap development I have today, even though I rarely train traps currently.
Fast forward to 07, I train with a more conventional PL split than a bodybuilding split. Using a program such as Metal Militia it is easy to gain mass as well as isolation movements use higher rep schemes, while basic movements use lower reps and force tremendous increases in GH levels.
Why I should be Considered/Selected:
I believe USP/Pure is a good fit for me as they are expanding and growing. I have been on these forums for some time, am well spoken, knowledgeable, have experience repping for Molecular and managing a local GNC. With my view on fitness, my flexible schedule and the willingness to help others I think I would be a great asset to the advertising and customer support of USP labs. I am currently working on double majoring in Advertising and Journalism. I am also interested in pursuing a B.S. in Sports and Exercise Science, but am well aware I need to brush up on some chem in order to meet the degree requirements.
I have a strong understanding of advanced nutrition and training principles, as well as a vast knowledge of the different ingredients within todays popular sports supplements. I am well aware USP is based on innovation, specialized plant extracts and unique selling points, therefore, many popular supplements are not a part of the line. With that said, I am also familiar with USP's products as I have used ciscuss rx, super ciscuss, the old version of PowerFULL, tested Yellow Gold, and have used 1 bottle of AP. (I've yet to try P-Slin)
Thanks again for your time and the amazing opportunity.

I really had no intention of coming back to the industry.. And by industry I mean the Supplement industry, not the fitness industry. The forums have become an increasingly hostile environment, and of course with the recent moves toward censorship, joining a company is like trying to swim with my hands and feet tied up. And then there's the constant drama. There never seems to be peace on these forums anymore, and companies, regardless of rules in place, are still consistently at each other's throats. All of these are reasons why I wanted to stay away, far away...
Still, this forum gave me a lot of chances to express myself, and it did bring me just rewards, perhaps more than what I deserved. I also enjoyed the many meaningful discussions, and of course the occasional smart-ass comments (mostly from me )... Last but not least, the people and the companies I met here and in person really brightened my life quite significantly. I never thought I'd get a chance to meet so many like-minded people until I joined this forum. Having been to the Arnold, the O, and the Europa and personally met some of these people, I can honestly say that there are a lot of great guys/girls who continuously contribute to this great forum.
Now, USP didn't make me an offer I couldn't refuse. I think few companies are capable of that at this juncture of my life. They are not a huge company by any means, and can't possibly match some of the other offers. Money aside, USP also has a reputation of a "lightning rod" on these forums. Of course, the owner himself is partially, if not mostly, responsible. I've had my own run-ins with the guy, and no, I didn't always walk away satisfied.
What I did see is potential, the possibility of a good future. It would be great to join a big name, and it'd be easy to do a good job there. But heck, since I'm un-retiring myself for something, might as well do it a little bit against the grain, and help a company that's not yet all there.
Before I gave the owner the go-ahead to put me on board, I was promised certain control. This control gives me the flexibility to do things, and to change things. That is the singularly most important reason I agreed to do this.
Jacob himself will be backing away from the forums, at least bb.com. I will take over 99% of the things here, including the reps. I will also have significant say in the future products we come out with.
I am not here to fight, argue, or be a part of any drama. I'm not here to fight Jacob's battles for him. I can never undo the past and don't pretend to have that ability. This industry is what it is, I just hope to make it slightly better for the consumers with my hands now deep in it.
