250 pounds of PURE FAT to 182 lean muscle
In the first photo I was 250 at 6'2"... had a 45 inch waist. DISGUSTING!!!
About a year later I started to work intensely... the b&w photos are two years after the fat pic.
-Actually... I've always naturally been pretty skinny.... I got fat because I went through a period of a couple weeks where I was smoking dope everyday... AND... my dad got all freaked out and had the cops break down my door and put me in a mental hospital.
Basically they locked me in a little room with no windows for three months and gave me weekly injections of maybe four different types of drugs and fed me food not even fit for a dog.
-Pretty horrific experience.
I gained 65 pounds of fat in those three months.
I'm about 182 in the b&w's and had a 32 inch waist. I think my arms were about 16.5"

The herb would have had virtually nil/minimal effects on you whereas that chemical **** they jammed you with is probably far far worse.
Anyway the good thing is your working out so just sweat out all those toxins

Just starting
I am just 1 month into my transformation. The first picture is from before ever touching a piece of equipment. The 2nd and 3rd are from a couple weeks in, and the last one is from a month in. I am just now getting into a routine that works well for me and my busy life.

I'm a hardgainer
The first pic was taken in Nov 2006. I was just starting to lift regularly. The second was taken about 2 weeks ago. I have been lifting roughly 10 months now. I need some opinions. Do you see a difference? I get a lot of sh#t from my guys. They say I am wasting my time at the gym. I am considered a hard gainer and it takes a lot of hard work and calories to gain weight. Let me know what you think.

My 9mths so far
First two are from my first month (and I thought I was all that haha)
Second two are from my 9th month of training
Still more work and commitment to go in but its a start
This is actually the first time I have looked at my start pics since then.
I have definately enjoyed the journey
Next month will be my 12th anniversary so I might see how those pics compare

6 months in
The 1st pic is about 2 years ago when i was planning to start weight training but
after a week i got bored and gave up. At the start of the year i looked exactly the same as in the previous years and weighed the same and i was tired of being made fun of being so skinny and weak looking and my physique not looking manly but still rather boyish. I still have a long way to go and need to work on my abs big time but im happy with my progress so far albeit being pretty slow progress so far.
ps: sorry about the stupid looking pose lol

I been eatting my ass off and hitting the gym serious now. Can anyone give some feedback..even tho most of it is going to be bad lol.

Abyss I have a question for you. I read a lot of your posts and I respect the advice you give. My problem is that I don't get sore until roughly 2-3 days after I work a specific muscle group. What causes this? I read somewhere that it is because there is a lot of lactic acid and other junk on your muscles. Can you help me fix this problem?

I get sore that same way when I work my legs (the major part that get DOMS). Some say to drink plenty of water afterwards, and stretch that part after a workout. Just my 2 cents...

This one only one serious month of working out. I put on 5 pounds, and i am starting to see some improvment in my chest. I can't wait to see what i look like 5 months of serious working out.
I know i need to work out everything seeing i am so skinny right now, but what would you guys see as my weakest spot?

ossizen I appreciate your "two cents" bro. I don't think thats my problem. Currently I am serving in Baghdad and trust me I am getting plenty of water in this f#cking heat. Anybody else know if there is a solution to the DMS?
