So Today I was feeling really pumped so I said to myself "I'm gonna bench press 315 today, I'm not leaving the gym until I hit 315"
So I go to the gym like a man on a mission, missed it the first time, Sat on the bench for about 5 minutes listening to my music visualizing myself bench pressing 315, and I did it!

lulz or gtfo
maybe some day
I ran a 5:08 mile in high school.. would have broken 5 my senior year, but halfway through the season I had to quit because my friend wasn't allowed to run anymore... breaking 5 was my all time high school goal... some day I might try to break it again. The main thing that holds me back is that I'm trying to add some mass right now and breaking 5 contradicts that. Quitting track is by far the most regretful decision I have made in my life thus far.

In June last year I raeched my goal of benching 200lbs. The reactions of kids at school kept me going hard on chest every 4th day since and last night broke my record by pressing 270(1rm). Now i'm going for 300 and can hardly wait for chest day!

You may delay, but time will not.
Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task.
Don’t wait for moods. You accomplish nothing if you do that. Your mind must know it has got to get down to work.
Yesterday is a cancelled cheque. Tomorrow is a promissory note. Today is the only cash you have, so spend it wisely.
If you do give up though just think. The sooner I fall behind, the more time I have to catch up.

Got out an extra 2 reps today for 8 reps of 2X80lb DBs, also got 100lb overhead tricep extentions for 10 tonight, kinda scared myself on that one most I had ever done was 70lbs. All in all was a sweet night, had the gym almost all to myself. But what should you expect at 10pm at a gym on a friday night.

Got 95lb dbs x 8 today.
Feeling pretty good about this since it is the first shoulder related PR I have set since my injury.

My 1RM on flat bench is 100 lbs. I know it's not much, but I've only been hitting the gym since Jan. 8 so I'm pretty happy with that.
Also, I can push out 408 on the leg press sled 8 times, 500 is my 1RM.
Like I said, not much, but its huge for me and for less than 2 months in the gym.

4 years and 5 days after being hit by a car on my bicycle, F'ing up my left leg and fracturing three lumbar vertebrae I'm happy to say I'm back to squating over 365 lbs.
Set went like this (supersets of Leg Extension then full squats)
Leg Ext: 150x12, 180x10, 210x10, 240x10, 270x8
Squats: 185x10, 225x8, 275x8, 315x6, 365x4
Still won't do a 1RM on squat, still need to work on my core and this is without knee wraps, which I need if I want to go heavier due to old injuries worrying me

misc lyfe aint no strife
interestin day at the gym.... ill usually use this machine to warm up, and then at times, load an extra 45;bs weight on it, to equal out 350lbs.... guess after about a year of that, and other use (college gym) it took its toll b/c today, i broke it! lol. snapped the welds that hold the "thigh pads" and bent that whole bar back...
the part "squared" in red:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
snapped the welds clear at the bottom there and bent it back about 3 inches....
