I had braces as a teenager and had surgery as well for teeth that weren't going to come through properly
Seriously 2 years will be over in no time and you will be so glad you got them done
The ladies do love a nice set of choppers

I know, Imagine getting them off at night like an old fart, or if you laugh so hard they come off and scare little kids.

How bad are your teeth? Sometimes you will only need them 1 year to a year and a half. I had mine for 2 1/2 but my teeth were ****ed.

Yes. And then you'll get your braces adjusted, and it'll hurt again.

Yea the first couple of days is bad but soon you wont even know you have them on, I got braces added after one year two days ago all the way on the end on my last teeth and it hurts today still when I chew but use pain relievers and just time is the best thing it'll go by
But yea its annoying and you'll keep touching them for now

Man, to many of you people seem to base most of your decisions on what woman want, it's pathetic really.
And good job getting them, it'll be worth it later

Yeah, you'll get that a lot for a few days, then nobody will care..it's nothing. It's just like getting a new haircut or getting new glasses, or doing a dirty bulk. Anyways, what pisses me off is when I forget to not eat hard foods, then a bracket gets taken off.....my orthodontist gets pissed sorta....but what can I do :P. (Yes it happens a lot when you are not thinking).
1-2 more months and I GET THEM TAKEN OFF WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! (2 years in total)

How ****ed up is your grill. Do you have insurance. Get the clear braces that you just bite into.

i've had braces for close to 2 months now...they arent that bad...they hurt like hell today when i was getting the new wire on but besides that..feels fine
my jaw is not in perfect alignment..my dentist recommends that i see a surgeron to consider getting my jaw realigned..the braces will straighten my teeth but they wont line up perfectly..personally i dont think this is needed..any one have experience getting their jaw cracked?

Jaw surgery aint fun but it's well worth it IF you got the extra $5000+ to get it done.
Looks like you got an overbite..Jaw surgery will give you a proper bite plus it's make ur face more symmetrical...yes it's consider cosmetic surgery but it's also beneficial for your bite. A proper bite keeps your teeth from grinding on each other.
Jaw surgery can only be done with braces on...if you dont do it now...it'll cost more and be a pain in the ass if you decide to get it done later on.
Like I said...it really comes down to your financial situation...beg your rents or get a loan. You can only gain from this.
