lol your saying 5'8 is short. I never see a girl over 5'8, only on rare occasions. One of my mates is 5'3 and he still gets the girls.

I'm 5'8", and I went out with a girl who was taller than me, some belly dancer or something. She told me before she will never go out with someone who's shorter than her, I thought she was a bitch for saying that, and I got with her a few days later. There's a difference between what a girl says and what she really means.

Do you mean you'd date a guy who is 'Short' compared to the average height of a guy (say a guy who is 5'5") or do you mean you'd date a guy who is shorter than you (4'9"-4'11")?

yea. clearly short guys, 5-6 and under, would get more girls were they taller, but i think we can make up for it in other ways

its pretty much a fact that if eveything else is equal a girl will choose the taller guy

they see tall people as stronger and more protecting even though we all know thats not always the case....

Women are very superfical, even more so than men. Don't believe me? Go to a dating site and look at some fugly women. They have big time requirements. One that seems to stand out is a guy atleast 6'0 tall. If you are shorter, you are **** out of luck. This is coming from fat, fuglies too.

I remember reading something online, and it said that women said the number one thing they look for in a man physically is height. Not muscles, not the face, but height.

I am 5'10 barefoot, so I generally date taller men. However, it is not a requirement. A big personality can make up for a few inches. Seriously. Are you concerned that women your own height won't date you or shorter women? It seems to me that a woman wouldn't care as long as you are taller than her. I don't know. I have always been tall, so I don't know what short women think.

I have a question for the guys. Do you like tall women? From reading these boards, it seems like a lot of men are intimidated by tall women. Just curious.
