Everyone has different goals, why do people not realize that. Not everyone wants to look like a model, and not everyone wants to be huge, or even close to huge.
My goal is to get lean, I don't want to look huge. Saying that my goal is worse or better is retarded. Either way it requires work and dedication so I don't see why some of you feel that your goals are superios to someone elses.
To each his own ffs.

I always thought abercrombie models were tall (like 5'11 and up?) and weighed like 160-170lbs with abs etc. me, I'm not really cut but I have been in the past, and I still didn't look like an AF model because I never bought into that bullcrap. I'm not saying all af models are jerks but the fake ones at my highschool were, and I just never got into the style.

they look like body builders who are constantly cutting. they are really cut but i've noticed that they have small legs which probably means they never work them out because they have to fit into tight jeans or something.

People are just jealous, to get a body like that ugy in that link you posted i bet he still ahs to work damm hard to maintain it. You jsut dont get a big chest from lifting bench and eating crap.
Some1 wnats to be a bodybuilder, he lifts and trains like ab ody builder
Some1 wants to be a model they lift and train to look like a model.
You cant diss some1 elses goal. Its not oyur job you just have to focus on your own goal.
Reps to you man for saying the right thing

When I was a kid, guys wanted to look like Arnold.
Now, a lot of them want to look like anorexic effeminate models.
No wonder test levels are on the decline.

All the people bashing the Abercrombie models have low self esteem and a ****ty body. "you can attain that in 6 months" People start from all places and all different genetic limits. Yea some people 1 in 100,000 can attain that in 6months while others will take year or two. It all boils down to genetics. And to all the kids bashing them i guarantee none of you have that body or close to it and dont give me the oh he is 20 years old excuse. Hey jackass maybe he started at age 19 get a clue? Not everyone starts at age 13 and not everyone wants ronnie colemans body dip****. Only a select few can get ronnie colemans physique and you are not it and not ever wants to shove down meals every hour and inject steroids. Do you have any clue how much time is involved in Ronnie Coleman's physique or any other pro?

Some strong *******s here. Hope yall don't act like this in the gym, but of course yall are all huge mofo's with even bigger egos so I suppose that makes it fine to bash someones goals.
While it wouldn't be my "ideal" shape, its not wrong to aspire for that.

13.5 months after starting, I'm male modeling, very high chance of getting rolled over internationally in October, and a lot of my motivation has come from this website, even if I'm not a huge guy.
I've been running 4.5km every day, twice a day for the last couple months, and I'm gonna try to get some new pics of my bod up onto my page, I've gained a bit of muscle and reallly trimmed down the fat that was bothering me on my body.
Everything is working out better, and since i've gotten in shape, I've been happier, healthier, and respected more.
Oh, and I'll be a fashion model too HA =P
Its all really good, I'll post pics up in a week maybe, since thats as early as I can get access to a camera.. I havn't gotten pics up since April when I had Orange hair for hockey!
Wow!
Oh, I'm 162 on a normal day, and 155 on a shoot day, 6% bodyfat, 6'1, 38.5" chest, 30x34 jean.
I started out at 188lbs, couldn't bench 100lbs, probably 25 percent bodyfat

wow after just reading up to page 5 in this thread, ive decided i had to say something. first of all people need to start realizing that bodybuilding is not just about competition and being like ronnie coleman. they need to stop bashing guys for having a different goal than others. bodybuilding is an art. its about transforming your body to however you'd like it to look, whether it be like an abercrombie physique or a Mr. Olympia.
2nd. props to my man who started this thread and everyone on here supporting him. i have absolutely nothing wrong with how abercrombie models look or any models for that. hell, id love to have be in the 7-8% BF range and have a body like theirs right now. these models have a way better looking physique than i do. if you're going to tell me that abercrombie models only do cardio and little bits of bench press and curls, you should log off this forum today and never return. if that were that case i could've been to that status a year ago, which in fact is definitely not the case. i can almost garauntee these models have to be in good shape year around and need to maintain somewhat of a good diet. but to say that these guys don't workout hard is just true ignorance. you can totally tell that these guys workout, you dont get ripped abs out of nowhere, unless you have naturally good genetics but even at that these guys are more fit than those who have naturally good genetics that DONT WORKOUT. just look at the ads. like someone else said on here before, if someone came on here posting a body like an A+F model, a lot of the dudes that were bashing would've had reversed comments. but just reading the thread and the fact that it included ABERCROMBIE they feel they need to bash. for all you know, some of these models arent just full time abercrombie models. they can also be doing other modeling for say a fitness magazine. now if he would've posted something about a FITNESS model, it would all good and jolly. just because its an ad for abercrombie and not for muscle mag, the bashing must ignite. grow the fck up.
3rd. if anyone thinks that abercrombie models dont have a place in the bodybuilding forum than i guess tommy bryant, matus valent, greg plitt, diego sebastian, TJ hoban and the likes of many others dont either. all the names ive listed have the physique of my ideal goal. IMO they portray absolute perfection, nothing too big and overtop yet nothing too small either. they show a presence of dominance. now none of those guys are super heavyweights but are very well fit. IMO, that is my image of perfection. very well proportioned, ripped, and muscular. saying that A+F models arent proportioned is also ignorance. maybe i myself dont know what proportioned means these days but for example, take a look at the second picture that gobbles posted up. obvioulsy a bodybuilder, but you can totally see his lats and back muscles popping out from the backing, his pecs just dont match up and his legs are just too massive. i would never want to look like that, id way rather look like the ripped A+F model than that. again thats just me, some people dream to look like that. A+F models are proportioned, just to an extent. those of who that are saying they dont have an athletic build, please tell me how they dont? just because they dont wear thongs and speedos to show of their bodies doesnt mean they dont workout their legs. yes, they probably dont do it as much, but look at the their stance and presentation. they stand tall and strong, you dont get that without working your legs. also understand these guys work in the industry where the image has to be on point. remember, these guys work for abercrombie, not muscletech. they arent supposed to look like heavyweights, they're supposed to have good looking physiques that appeal to the masses of females from the ages of ehhhh 12-25. you get my point.
lastly, let this be a lesson or understanding to those who do want the physique of abercrombie models and fitness models. those who are bashing on this guy for his likes are plain ignorance and looks as if they havent fully learned the definition of bodybuilding and just have plain old jealousy within themselves. not everyone wants bulging legs and massive arms. there are many, many guys who just want to be ripped and have a good looking body, myself included. bodybuilding can be used to say healthy and active. there are many fields in which bodybuilding is accustomed to, NOT JUST BUILDING MASSIVE MUSLCES. im not trying to look like ronnie coleman or any of those guys, i want a body like tommy bryant. does that mean i still cant come on this forum and look for beneficial information that will help me reach my goal? ABSOLUTELY NOT. we all dont have the same goals, but one thing we all do have in common is the goal to build a body of our liking.
