How big can I get naturally?
I'm 27 years old, 5'10 ecto that used to be 125 pounds in December 2006. I'm now 170 pounds 8 months later thanks to a proper diet and weight training. Will I be able to break the 200 pound mark naturally? If not, how long should I lift before thinking about juicing?

You should be able to hit 200 lbs easily. At around 12% bodyfat, you should be able to hit around 215 before you start to have difficulty adding mass.

At 5'10" you should be able to get there, look at the gains you made in 8 months. Good for you bro, just eat big, sleep a lot, and train lie a crazy mofo.

I hit 230lbs no problem with creatine and protein at 10%bf and I was still gaining pretty rapidly when I quit.

I started training when I was 18. I'm 29 now. I'm 5 10" and about 240. Haven't got a clue what my bodyfat is. If you can wait a few years, train consistantly and eat plenty of protein there's no need to take any gear (unless you really want to). I wouldn't bother as you don't really know what your buying and putting into your body. Train naturally and the results will come in time. I've had loads of training partners and they want to hit the juice straight away. Stop juicing and they lose most of the weight. There is a limit on how big your body will grow natarally and you would have to hit the gear to get bigger but there's loads of growing in you yet. Good luck.

If you are interested get your thyroid hormone levels checked many ectomorphs actually have hyperthyroidism, very handy to know when calculating how many calories you need.

You're not going to get an accurate number as to how long you can gain naturally. Can you hit 200lbs naturally? Probably, but how much of that is muscle versus fat remains to be seen. How much of your current 170lbs is fat is also something I don't know.
You'll have a good idea as to whether or not you've reached this point when you find that despite how much you eat or whatever informed training protocols you employ that you're just not gaining any or very little lean mass, with training performance also seeing minuscule improvements. I'd say that is when you know you've met your natural threshold for growth and training capacity. Additionally, a rather prudent point to keep in mind is that if you feel you have to ask other people whether or not you're "advanced" or at your genetic set point then you can be fairly certain that you've yet to reach such a point.
I don't think there's any shame or wrongdoing in jumping onto the AAS train despite not reaching this point. I think it's wrong if you jump onto it without still knowing your body in regard to how you respond to training and diet or how to use AAS properly. After all, efficiency is what being human is all about.
