Cool...a fellow pit owner...and, I would agree in general, that were my boy put in a precarious situation or were he to sense a threat, a would feel quite sorry for the source of the threat. Anyway, I've hijacked this enough with dog talk, so let me quote you and say to VA:

........okay, this was kind of a silly post, but what the heck!

Whats up everyone? I hit back pretty hard today. As a matter of fact, I had a great week. Workouts this week has been intense and focused. I had a couple of set backs as many of you may know and I think that has sparked something. Diet has been spot on and fat is coming off. I'm still not where I was hoping to be but that is my own fault. As of tomorrow, I will have 3 weeks and 13 weeks to go. To be honest, I am nervous about the next 3 weeks because I will need to make some AWESOME progress to be really competitive. Don't get me wrong, I will look like I belong but after some of my fellow brothers/teamates showings, I'm a little behind in the conditioning area. I may be slightly lacking on my conditioning a tad at the Pres. Cup but I promise you that I will be one of the most muscular.
Did things a bit different today.
Warm Up B/W Pullups(2 sets x 10 reps)
T-Bar rows(160lbs + bar x 3 sets x 15 reps)
DB Rows(80lbs x 2 sets, 70 lbs x 1 set x 15 reps)
Lat Pulldowns(160lbs x 3 sets x 15 reps)
Cable Pulldowns(130lbs x 3 sets x 15 reps)
Rack Deads (395lbs x 3 sets x 12 reps)
Hyperextensions(3 set x 12 reps)
Cardio 45 min(HIIT/LIT) Sprints on Bike

DIps are last in the Cut Diet Vol. 2. My elbows dont bother me. I use form that Mr. Charles Glass recommends to be a little safer on the joints and really hit the Tri's.

What's up VA, haven't dropped a comment in a while, but I've been following...
You've been faced with some adversity VA and you've pushed through, nothing to be ashamed of. With your work ethic and drive you'll be able to turn things up in the next 3 weeks. Just take yourself to that next level and you'll be amazed at the results you see.
Now go out these next three weeks and tear it up..
Everyone at the Pres. Cup...
Stand by.....

X2 Thanks for the call Shawn. You always motivate me to take it to the next level. Randy hit it right on the head. Like I told you over the phone, 3 weeks is A LONG TIME when prepping. With the way you work and the focus you have you will come in looking phenominal. Keep that picture in your mind and work to see it in the mirror.

Thanks to all of you. I think Rubicon hit the nail on the head. Its just last minute jitters. 3 weeks is a lot of time and Layne has diet plans on lock. I'm really starting to get excited. Once again, Thanks for all of the motivation and keeping my mind focused.

Yo VA!
Where ya at? Hey man, its time to do this! Alright?! So no more second-guessing...everyone at every show wants to win. The key is in how we define victory. The most obvious is grabbing the 1st place prize for your class and the overall would be a nice "icing on the cake"...oops, my bad. I mentioned icing and cake and you are in the midst of dieting! Victory is also define by parameters you set...such as stepping on stage a better version of the you that took to the stage during your last show. That better you, may be a slightly more masive version, it could be a more conditioned version, a more polished poser, etc. No matter what happens you will walk away victorious.
Now get down to business and git ur dun!

Whats up all? I had to chalk yesterday up as a loss because I had to work almost 18 hours. Today I had a similar schedule but I let for a few hours to hit the gym. I worked out at a different gym than usual. It was good because, as I posed in between sets, people stared. I say ood because it was like bing on stage and posing in front of a crowd of people that you don't know. I'm a little weak but who care?
Warm up Incline DB Press
Incline DB Press( 120,110,110 x 6 reps, 90,90 x 8 reps)
Flat DB Press(90 x 5 sets x 8 reps)
Incline DB Flyes(45 x 5 sets x 10 reps)
Pushups( Failure)
Decline Crunch/Hanging Leg Raise(15/15 x 3 sets)
45 min Cardio(15 sprints and rest LIT) on bike/treadmill
Since I had to take yesterday off I will workout on Thursday which is normally cardio only.

Guys ever see Transformers?
You know who Optimus Prime is based off of, right?
You know... the big effing 18 WHEELER??? The one that turns into an enormous mass of technologically advanced weaponry, with a courageous mind, sense of leadership, heart of gold and will made of iron?
Yeah that's the one im talkin about... Well, it's based off of VA!!
That's right, what a machine!
