Thank you for your support ladies! I've been busting my ass since January 1 really. Since the show was first scheduled for June, then to August 11 then it was canceled 8 weeks out except for my vacation in March I really haven't taken a break from all the cardio and dieting. I'm doing my first trial carb load this coming weekend while I'm out of town visiting relatives in Indiana. I found a gym near their house that said they would let me workout for free for the week. Hopefully all goes well.

Well, four more weeks to go to Nationals! I'm thrilled with my progress so far and can only pray that the coming weeks go as planned. I'm down to 132lbs. and 11% bf. My diet is going really good now I've been doing a higher fat low carb week totaling 1550 cals. and feel I look my best ever.
I finished beading my suit and I must say it looks stunning. I was a little nervous about doing this but it was remarkably easy to do and I highly recommend it. My one-peice I'm not sure of. I don't really think it's a national level suit so I may try adding more crystals to it or just borrow a friends suit instead.
I spoke with a photographer from Musclar Development magazine today that wants to do a photo shoot the day before the show. I'm nervous and excited about that!
Today was my complete day off which felt good to get stuff done like school shopping for the kiddos. I can't believe it's that time already...well maybe not quite but, I wanted to beat the crowds. And, that is one less thing to worry about as the contest approaches.
Well, off for a bike ride with my son.

I thought it would be hard too but it's really easy. You just use a clump of bees wax on the end of a straw to pick up the crystals, dip them in the glue and place them. I purchased all my stones, glue, wax on artbeads.com. Go for it...you can do it!

I had a really fun photo shoot on Saturday so I'm posting just a couple of the pics from that. I'm now at 2.5 weeks out from the North American Championships!!!!!

Well, it's over. I competed in the IFBB North American Figure Championships in Cleveland and what an experience that was! I had two days of pre-judge and there was a lot of getting ready only to wait around for hours! We had a 7:30a.m. meeting, prejudge started at 9:00am pre-judge but I didn't get on stage until 2:30pm then had to wait around for my Masters class. Then had to be back for a 5:00pm meeting, final show was at 6:00 got on stage at 8:45pm.
Going out after was great! We went to the cheesecake factory I had pasta, dessert, and a margurita! Needless to say I was very sick in the middle of the night. The next day was the long 13hour drive home where I ate fast food for every meal. That night I was 10 pounds heavier!!!!
Okay, the results...18 out of 27 in my height class. I always said I didn't want to place last and I'd be happy well, I'm happy. The competition at that level is fierce!!! If I ever want to continue or compete at a National show again I need to put on some serious size on my arms and shoulders. Here's a link to the results and pics. And, some of my pics.

Pics are a bit small, but you look spectacular!!! I REALLY wanted to go to that show, but I had to work that night! Sounds like I missed a really great show!! Glad you enjoyed your food afterward! What's next for you? Are you going to compete again soon?

"No, your face does."
Thanks for taking the time to read it! I have not thought about the next one. I need to focus on my family for awhile. However, if I do step on stage again it will be with a lot bigger shoulders and that is going to take some time.
