i like the 'might' part best
you can't compare children under 5 to grown-up adults. i prefer an intelligent grown-up to a dog but i prefer a dog to a three-year-old.
most, if not all, problems in the world today can be tracked down to there just being waaayy too many people (grown-up and otherwise) in it.
churning out more CO2 producers when there's no real need (you can adopt or become a foster parent so you can help the existing ones) might just not be a good idea.

In order to get those intelligent adults, you do have to rear 3 year olds... I don't deny that there are many existing children out there that could be adopted or cared for -- that's an admirable choice to make. I would be open to that option if I'm unable to con some poor woman into marrying me one day. But, my original point stands -- I'd much rather share my life with a child than cling to a pet because I need unconditional regard and a fuzzy plaything -- not that there's anything wrong with that, I just have my preference.

I hear you. I did a 10 mile bike ride (50 minutes - I'm so slow) only because we are going to a baseball game tonight and I want a hot dog and beer.

OMG Tara! That picture of the puppy cracked me up!! And you were so quick with it too!
However Miranda, the pic of the skinny girl with the rock hard implants (installed conveniently out under her arms) was................ serious
Hey Del! No drinking and driving for me......as a matter of fact, no drinking period.

I don't even like regular pancakes. I really am not much of a sweets eater and certainly not at breakfast....yuck!

Hey! Happy July 5th!
Congratulations on becoming a Real Bodybuilder! Smart cookie with your toasted oats. Next step is broccoli 5 times a day - you can toast that too. LOL.
Are you just about due for another workout???

**********BBing*************
I forgot my paper today but I remembered everything pretty well. I got to the gym later than usual and hope to not have to go at that time again. Too many old fat guys camped out on stuff. WHY don't they get up between sets??
Almost no rest between sets or SS....this probably isn't the best option for building muscle but it has to be good for shedding some fat, don't ya think?
[SS]
Bulgarian Split Squat
15 X 20# each leg (I know that's common sense but you know how some of you are)
15 X 50#
15 X 50#
Stole Julia's idea and used plates instead of dumbbells.....much better
Lat Pull Down Underhand Grip
15 X 90#
15 X 90#
15 X 90#
[SS]
Hack Squat (Lifestyle machine) feet forward, wide stance
15 X 50#
15 X 70#
15 X 100#
I could go heavier but it doesn't look like there is a safety on that machine and I didn't want to get stuck.
Seated Row - Neutral Grip
2 X 15 X 50#
15 X 60#
I had to do the second set using an M shaped bar - it was a little harder
Decline Push-up/Jack Knife Combo on ball ... I these!!
3 X 10
[SS]
Lying Leg Curl
15 X 40#
15 X 40#
10 X 50#
Lying Bicep Cable Curls
15 X 50#
15 X 60#
15 X 50# Last set was standing because someone else was trying to use the cable station too.
[SS]
Pec-Dec Rear Delt
15 X 40#
15 X 50#
Skipped the last set.....some fat guy was taking a nap on the machine.
Front / Lateral Shoulder Raise Combo
12 X 8#
12 X 8#
2 min w/u then...
20 Minutes HIIT on treadmill - 1 min 3.8, 1 min 8.0 intervals.....a mere stroll compared to Uber and LouLou
I was sweaty and gross (as usual). I hate those cute, young girls that don't sweat.......no, I really do!!
*edit*........well, except for Tara
Eating is going well today.
That's it.

We'll have to call that "sub-stealing" 'cause I stole the idea from Tricia (MuscleMom)!
THAT was an awesome workout Elise! Way to kill it! You've got some good strength there.
I've taken to the treadmill myself lately. I've always been a step mill gal but since my knee isn't bothering me the TM has been fine. I used to LOVE running.

Those young ponytailed girls don't sweat because they don't do anything. If you'd take them to the lat pulldown & put 90# on it you'd have to pull it down for them. When they grabbed the bar, if you let go they'd go flying toward the ceiling like being shot out of a catapult. Whoommmm, stand back everyone, there she goes. Have a great wkend gg.

Have a great weekend Elise

Hi Elise.... I am with Uber.... we go away and come back to 2 fantastic workouts!!!
I had to play golf yesterday... and I was thinking of how good I would have looked pushing your pink golf buggy... but considering that we each were only allowed to have 1 club, the buggy would have been quite empty
You are going so well... Have a great weekend Elise!
