There is no need for high reps, you should lift heavy every workout- this is especially true if you are cutting.

great info! my main goal when cutting is to keep my strenghth up... by working heavy, your know how much muscle your losing, and when to stop the cut and switch to a bulk

definition is determined by muscle mass, water retention (only when youre at low BF), and body fat. theres no need for high reps; they dont help bring out definition. if want more definition, cut and/or do cardio.

after my high reps workout i feel a great pump on my muscles...i feeel them hard...i almost get a better look on high reps than on low reps...so i think i get a good result by mixing both...and of course always training intense...im doing cardio 3/4 times a week sometimes i go medium intenisity 40m...others i sprint for 20m....im gettin too much water retained on my muscles tho even depleting carbs... but thanks for the advice man!

You can lose muscle and increase on lifts.
