Hi Vanessa
Whew and Ow. I didn't have the drive or energy to get out a rockin' hard cardio workout. I was hungry, my legs hurt and by the end, my left foot went mostly numb! That's never happened before.
Stair Stepper
10 minutes
43 cals burned
Elliptical
20 minutes
random setting Level 10
177 cals burned
Treadmill
10 minutes
38 cals burned
I barely ran for one minute and every step hurt both the quads and the hammies... so I just gave it up. Walked for about 9 of the minutes.
TOTALs
40 minutes
258 calories burned
I need, and want, a nap.
Food for June 28
Meal 1: 4 scrambled egg whites; 1/2 cup oats oatmeal
Meal 2: Postworkout whey protein drink
Meal 3: 2 serving bowl of Fiber One; 1 1/2 cups 2% milk
Meal 4: 1 svg. Kashi crackers; 2oz hard 2% cheese; 6 green olives
Meal 5: 7oz chicken breast; 1/4 cooked brown rice; veggie mix: 3 baby corns, water chestnuts, fresh mushrooms, onion, garlic
Meal 6: TBA

My foot used to go numb sometimes on the elliptical....usually when my legs are tired, they just feel like lead during cardio!

New picture day! I haven't felt much like taking any for a long time. I'm still having my time-of-month issues, but I'm on the downward side, now.
So here I am... I don't know what my body fat % is. I weigh roughly 117# tho I didn't weigh this morning because time-of-month weights are always a few pounds high.
Editing to add some Post Workout pics... two of 'em.
I was hoping to show my little chest/pec muscle striations, but the pic came out blurry... but maybe you can still see something there:
And a little bicep!! Just had to take another double bi pose after the workout just to see. hehe

Hi Lisa,
Just stopped by to see how you were doing and what a pleasant surprise to see new pics. You're looking awesome and should be very proud of yourself. Your hard work is paying off. Congrats!
Also, where do you get that No Nonsense Newsletter from? Do I just google it?
Thanks,
Barb

Hi pacificgrl, thanks so much! I haven't posted here in my log for a LONG time, I see. LOL Those pictures aren't my most recent progress pics. I'll post some new ones while I'm here.
YES... I'll bet people don't understand why you'd want to hit the weights and gym, thinking you're already "skinny enough". You really have to just tune people out, and do your own thing, knowing that what you're doing is the right thing for you. I lost a lot of body fat, too, and about 8 pounds, over a year's time. Now I just maintain what I've got, you know?
Here are my most recent pictures.

Thanks Pacific! Well.... honestly, I'm not posting because I'm not working out right now. hehe Not much to say! I have been feeling the urge and itch to get back to it...
I don't have any interest in competing in a show or anything, so once I get to a great point, I kind of take a break. Then I start over again. hehe I never get TOO far away from goal, tho. Like I can always fit into my "small clothes", if ya know what I mean.
Do you have a log or journal here that I can read more about you and your goals?

Hey Lisa,
Definitely check out my journal in my sig. I'd love your input!
I've gone through that before where I reach a plateau with my workouts and then lose interest. Maybe you can set a new goal for yourself even if it's not a competition?
