Looks good, I liked NOS Precursor. Too bad they don't sell it anymore. What's the Velocity diet all about? Good luck!

Segansational in a nut shell it pretty much amounts to an all protein shake diet, with other factors thrown in there are a lot of logs around check a few out also at T-nation there is the original diet and it's creator.

Yes there is.
Supplements don't make the man, diet/training do. It's better IMO to invest in a personal trainer, get most of your calories from whole foods, and buy protein/creatine/multi/fish oils in bulk, then it is to have an OK diet with lots of protein shakes, an OK training program, and 10,000 supps. Why not try to help someone save money as well? Some supplements just aren't worth it, and there's always the law of diminishing returns. I don't care how many supplements you stack together, you're only going to gain 1-2lbs of muscle per week MAX barring UNBELIEVABLE genetics...or steroids.

As far as supps go, to be honest i don't think I could do this without them, NOW THAT'S ME PERSONALLY, I have learned to chew my Liver tabs, you have no idea the difference that makes, only for the hardcore(smile)
until I'm done, and I will get done(smile)
Peace

No there is not. Find me the value in someone saying, "why spend so much on supps?"... There IS value in someone offering advice and saying, "hey, why don't you try this... It's a better product and more affordable." But most people here don't do that.

I agree... Wasn't stating otherwise. Personally, all I use is bulk fish oil, Now Adam multi, my HDx2/Mass FX cycle and On Whey post w/o. Efficient enough for me. And the AX products are worth the money imo. I rely on my diet for everything else I need.
Not being argumentative here with you Zack. Just tired of people blasting individuals for using supps that may be beneficial for that individual, but are considered too expensive and therefore a waste of money by the pennyless masses.

Awesome man! Wish I could do that. Maybe after I finish my HDx2/Mass FX cycle (like a few months after) I will give JW a shot. Although it scares me

WOW, WOW,WOW here I am about to end my 2nd week on the V-Diet and already I am down 12 pounds, I repeat 12 pounds I'm seeing muscel groups on my body I did not know exsited(smile)this is beyond belief, who says this is a tough protocal? The mirror(can't stay out of it), My Wife, (For reasons I shall not metion here.)(smile) my children(who tell there friends my Dad is a bigger then John Cenna), Guys and Gals at the gym(who have been whispering that I may be doing something extra), heck the people at the Mall yesterday( I got so many looks ,winks, and even a cat call), all those things have become my motivation. lossing fat makes muscel look so much bigger(WOW)I have been training now some 5 or more years, and I have never seen my muscels look this good, Man when I'm done I will be a work of freaking art, I will be doing a photo session after this is over, for sure.
Everyone that is doing or wanting to do the V-Diet, do it you will be so happy you did, will I stop now? Not if my life depended on it(smile)
For those who say Liver tabs do nothing, go hardcore start chewing them, I liked them before simplely as a maintance sup now I see why the old school bodybuilders loved them , chewing them for me has unlocked there power. ok nuff said I'm out, can't wait to get to the Gym(LOL)

stop using parenthesis so much, after reading this thread, i am happy for your success, but it makes you seem like a tool
and the t-nation article on the velocity diet makes it seem like a normal cutting diet recommended by every post in the nutrition section... edit: all liquid...sounds pretty stupid but whatever

As far as being a tool, I am, ask my Wife, as far as this being an advertisment for T-nation, not at all I don't work for free, and I'm not cheap, I am just like everyone else here or at least some here. Trying to create a better version of myself. Yes this is an extreme diet, Stupid? Maybe for some it would be stupid, but for those of us who have a better understanding of what they are doing, it's great, it's working for me.
Don't want to seem like a stuck-up ass, but I look great, and I'm looking better every doggone day on this program
Nuff said
Zack, I am staying very safe, I like me, I'm keeping everything at a healthy level, thanks for the concern and the support
Strength has actual gone up somewhat, I'm doing 10x10
peace
All done with no parenthesis(LOL) oh well could not help myself

Good work man! Sounds like this is going great for you! I'll keep an eye on this thread as I'm considering the V-Diet myself eventually.

awesome success!!!
I think my problem was my lack of a solid protein (was using ON whey) and the lack of a supp that helped my appetite.... Yerba mate tea, eh? what site did u buy from? I really wanted some a while ago but forgot all about it.
And whats this about chewing the liver tabs? Sounds kinda gross lol
thanks for all the updates, sounds like your doing awesome. Best shape of your life at 40?! very inspirational, makes me feel like crap for having a whole bowl of sugar free pudding tonight!

Had a slight set back over the weekend, had a family emergency and ended up allowing myself to be stressed out, so my one meal turned into two, ended up eating two steaks instead of one(whew) both very lean, and hormone free(Kosher) so I had a protien rich weekend, but went over a bit.
Normally I have no sugar or sweets cravings any way, sugar(processed carbs) and I don't mix. Knocks me out, puts me into an almost coma like state.Everyone around me was eating desserts, it had no effect what so ever on me, my carbs always come from salads and veggies even when i am not doing the V-diet, I eat that way anyway. My muscels are getting fuller and very hard, scale has stoped moving again, but I know that will change this week. One thing for sure my poor elbow and knees are aching like crazy, anyone have some insight on that? Also been fighting waves of depression that come and go? Along with some pretty vivid dreams, no strength loss, or tiredness, but a wave of sadness cut my Friday workout short.
Is this me or a by-product of this program?
Talk to me my Brothers in Iron
