I used to confuse fast music as good music. But when you're building up a night with a crowd, you want them there all the way to the last track. playing huge tune after huge tune after huge tune is, i guess energetic, but you begin to realize it is, in a way, monotonous. Oakenfold used to play trance but built his sets over hours as a resident at Cream and later on at Home in London. even TIESTO played this way. But now i guess it's acceptable to just play massive tune after massive tune.

I'm looking at this, and it's just mind-blowing to think he was playing ridiculously awesome. With the exception to the Smoke Machine track (which I feel doesn't fit the flow of the mix - meh good song wrong mix really), i can't, and have not, found a better Mix from this guy.
(edit; i'm excluding his compilations. Magik 7: Los Angeles is to me his magnum opus)
