Blown Away
What a Fantastic Video,
Amazing how he carries his son though life, without expecting anything in return, and to see then so happy together. "bought tears to my eyes"
He should be nominated for father of the year! seriously.
Wish then all the best for the Future!!!!

I watch this often to remind myself no matter how big and ripped I may get, I will never be anything compared to that man.

Sh*t, same here man! Makes you realise how good you have it, and how small your problems are, here you have a kid who can't do anything. He get's joy out of being pushed while his dad is running, makes him feel like he's not disabled anymore, and his father gives him that feeling plus than some. His father is out of this world doing all that, seriously one great man!
Makes me feel like a slacker also, him going from out of shape to doing all of that, it shows what real motivation can do.

Amazing! Makes you take a step back and realize how insignificant many things we discuss here are... like "is my routine good?" Just be grateful you can lift weights.

I saw them on Oprah once (my girl was watching). Just amazing what a father would do for his son.
Also the part in the video where he carries him out of the boat and everyone is applauding... just incredible.

Human will is an increbile thing. That video has really inspired me to ignore all the knockers and persue what I want out of life. Too many people lose sight of their goals and let people bring them down.

Wow...I'm no softie but that really got to me. This man is amazing. This just re-iterates how ****ing ridiculous the "Can't" and "Won't" attitudes of people are. This father (and mother) could have put their son in "an institution" because he was diagnosed as a vegetable, yet they stepped up to the challenge of life, and now look, the family is an icon. I can honestly say I have NEVER seen anything this amazing on all levels of determination, perseverance, and emotion. Screw these professional athletes, Dick Hoyt should be the athlete on the front of the Wheaties box.

Wow, that was amazing. If I wasn't surrounded by decorators, I dont think I could of held them back then.
The part where it mentions
``The thing I'd most like,'' Rick types, ``is that my dad sit in the chair and I push him once.''
Is by far the part that almost tipped me over the edge. To think the majority of us are lucky, is an understatement.

I love this part: "Their best Time? Two hours, 40 minutes in 1992--only 35 minutes off the world Record, which, in case you don't keep track of these things, happens to Be held by a guy who was not pushing another man in a wheelchair at the time."
