I had a bad workout and...

Ok

So I had my workout...bench, deads, the usual. Bench went fine, but i screwed up and pussed out and didnt do all my reps on the last set. Then with the deads, my first 2 sets (i do 3) were full of like 10 second pauses between reps...only the 3rd set was intense. Now I cant WAIT till my next workout to go 110% and prove to myself im still gaining strength after such a sorry effort.

Do you guys ever have horrible workouts where things dont go to plan? What do you guys do to make sure you push yourself and perform everything properly every workout?

Yeah, I hate it when i gget a bad workout. Then you have to wait a couple of days to train that group again.

It happens man, just get back in there and hit those weights 200% next time. I actually havent had a bad workout lately, I've been alittle more dedicated than previous times.

Youre young.. make sure youre lifting properly, be careful when increasing weight, make sure youre taking care of your body with proper nutrition and rest. I have days I feel lousy, but those are also the days I try my hardest because consistency is so important. Keep up the hard work, dont lose sight of your goals, and finish out your sets. Keep records of your workouts as well if youre not already. I find it easier to keep track, view progress, and outline my next workouts that way. Best of luck to you.
