Biceps Traps Kneck
Yesterday I increased the weight of my bicep curls. After a couple of ets I was really struggling to lift the weight, but I work to filure and on the last couple of reps I do whatever I can to get the dumbbel up as it still uses my biceps.. When I start to struggle I can feel my back and traps working to get the dumbbels up.
This morning I woke up with sore biceps which is a good sign, but my traps and lower kneck are also quite sore like I had done a traps workout the day before.
Is this bad... to be stuggling to lift and end up using my upper back/traps.. or is it ok?

Keep your form good enough to prevent injury. Otherwise, don't sweat it. You probably just didn't realize you were tensing up that much elsewhere.

You should probably lower the weight to keep your form better. Like they say, don't sacrifice form for weight.

Ah okay, so I shouldnt be failing sorness in my traps the day after a bicep workout. Should I try my best to isolate my biceps and if I cant lift with my biceps dont push it..?

If you can't lift with your biceps and your bending your back and using your traps then drop the weight.

This is exactly what you need to do.

There's nothing wrong with cheat curling once you can no longer curl the weight. Body english has crafted many a body.

Bulking 'til 230lbs or when the Buffalo Bills have a winning season. Whichever comes first.
Step 1) Pick up a weight and a small farm animal.
Step 2) Lift one and eat the other.

always use good form. don't just do whatever you have to to get the weight up. you can injure yourself and impair your gains.
