hey there. I think rest depends on how heavy you are lifting. I know that when I'm lifting heavy, I can rest anywhere from 1-2 mins before I'm ready to lift again. But if I'm lifting lighter, say 12-15 reps, I rest about 30 seconds. I think rest as long as you need to to catch your breath, and watch the clock so you can get an estimate. If yor are trying to burn fat, try shortening your rest periods over time.
