Smile wrist placement in any pressing movements

I hate to rant but why oh why in 90percent of pressing articles is the position of the writ not covered in proper detail, sure they generally cover where on the bar to place your hands, but not on wether your writs should be bent or not. surely there isnt a mass amount of ignorance on this issue as all pressing pics have pros with theyre wrists bent instead of straight, any presser woth thyre salt knows that an over stretching occurs with bent wrists, if you want proof check out olympic pressers from russia the best have straight writs, as a a side benefit straight wrists in any pressing excersize promotes more forearm and stabiliser developemet. please discuss

As I understand it, knocking your wrists back takes your forearms out the lift, putting more focus on your other muscles. Keeping your wrists straight allows your forearms to assist in the lift. Therefore, if pressing more weight is your goal, keep 'em straight. If muscle development is your goal, knock 'em back.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Try to keep your wrists straight, keep the bar as close possible to your wrist, not in your fingers.
