Good luck man!! Like I said before, your conditioning is awesome.. Side tris and side chest pose looks awkward though, maybe flare the right leg or something... Everything else looks great.

very impressive rear double bi! I'm impressed. I may be wrong, but it looks like your leg in the side chest and tricep seems a little too bent. As in too parallel to the ground. Maybe I'm dumb lol but just trying to help! Good luck, you're looking ready!

I'm 6'1, and I have to get very low or I look really tall and lanky, learned that last saturday and got advice from the judges to get low like that, but maybe brining my back leg a little farther back would make it look better?

Well I looked at it again and I just think it looks a little awkward with both knees bent so severely. See what bringing the back leg back will do, it should help the pose!

yeah, thats exactly what i meant.. bent slightly lower and bring one leg back to the rear. It will also allow you to show your calves and it doesnt look like your squatting.

I could be wrong, but I strongly believe that if anything, your back leg should only be slightly visible, like a sliver. It will make your front leg appear bigger. (Ignore my avatar in which my back leg is too visible) Plus, I've never seen any Pro bb'er do the side chest w/ more than a sliver of their back leg visible. If anything I wouldn't open it more than the way you have it in the shot you included. Just my opinion.
Good luck w/ your show btw. Great arms, back and legs... and diced!! Favorite shots are the rear dobby and side tri.

Good conditioning and great quads. You'll do just fine.

An observation on the side chest. If you turn your hips a little more outward, not a lot, but enough so you can rotate your torso toward the camera/judges more it will make you look bigger, but still hide your waist (which by the way looks small).
Agree that tricep pose looks a little awkward, but you are fairly tall, so I have no input. Good luck on the show, conditioning looks pretty good.

only the angles I show you which of course I try to mimic in posing...but its tough to avoid doing a front lat spread, a front relaxed and a front double bicep in this sport lol
But Thanks brother! I'm 99% sure I will knock out my routine great, and I'm sure I didn't place, so I'm worrying about getting my carb up right and having fun!

It sucks knowing going into the night show that you didn't place, but it's also kinda relaxing so you can just have fun with it... and then of course eat whatever the hell you want right after Congrats on getting into that condition. The contra costa is a VERY big NPC show. Good luck with your routine tonight!

to be honest I'm pleased, I came in slightly fuller, but still not full enough...darker and posed MUCH better, doesnt suck at all...as a natty competitor doing my second show a week after my first I'm just trying to get my feet wet and learn the ropes...but dont get me wrong I'm on stage posing like a winner, I muscled my way front and center during the posedown with 20 other guys lol

I know what u mean bro; I got 2nd callouts and I was happy with that. There were so many ppl in our class, and half of them did crossovers (me being one of them). The guy who won our class won the overall for novice and got 3rd in open. I just so happen to find this thread while searching google for the final results past 1-5.
