maximum effort, upper
*rained all morning and afternoon and it was really chili. Also woke up at 1pm, fml. Went to gym at 3.
*jumped rope for a couple of minutes, the coldness definitely affected my warmups
bb incline
barx15
65x10
135x5
185x5 (my body still felt cold, did some jump rope after this)
225x1 a little hard
250x1 5lb pr, sloppy/a little hard
255x1 10lb pr, easier than 250.
*I was gonna stop after 250; but I knew I wasn't warmed up good, and that my next lift would be easier, sure enough it was.
db bench
2warmup sets
90x7
90x8
90x7
*switched from db incline last week.
db rows
100x15
100x15
100x15
100x15
*strong cardio/grip work lol. Db's won't go higher. So no pr today, but did all sets strapless
grip work+ trap work
*Held a barbell with each hand for around 30 seconds, 95lbs each barbell.
*3 sets of shrugs,7reps 2second holds at top, 100lbs.
overall 4/5
Working hard as always...
*was gonna lift wuth teench tonight, but gonna do some stuff with the family pretty soon,so I worked out at the highschool weightroom today.

You gotta de-load eventually. I can't thing of any programs/schools of thought that don't believe in de-loading. But it's up to you.
That depends. What are your sticking points? You seem to be weak off the chest.
I would do floor presses if I had to choose. Something different.

no I don't. I don't lift competetively. I can workout forever because I do it for fun. If it hinders my progress so be it. But ill be damned if ever deload.
And I don't have short boards or anything....I'm gonna do floor press...

I read a pretty good article the other day about just how effective incline bench is in developing a chest in comparison to BB bench. I'll try and find it. Might have just been a Tommy Jeffers post or something like that come to think of it.

We still talking about de-loading here? Cuz it sounds like you think I'm trying to burn your house down and eat your babies.
It's only a week dude. You can do RE work instead of ME or some **** like that. There's is another popular method but I forgot what it is. Your choice dude.
Sounds good. I'm probably going to do floor presses after my de-load.

also, for GM's, should i do them on my leg day (since leg day follows my back day)?
