long time lurker first time poster.

i found this thread on 12 Jan 2009 and at 108kg. I spent that day reading through a most of the thread and decided to make a change. I also took a picture that day and it's attached to this thread.

As of today, I'm 85kg and feeling a lot healthier and happier than I was. There's been ups and downs and it's been tough sticking to it but I think this is more of a lifestyle than a "diet". Still got a long way to go for those abs but I hope another year and they'll be there.
My progress pic is as of today.

All the posts on this thread are inspirational and helped me get through the tough times or when I fell off the wagon.

Keep up the good work everyone and I'm sure everyone will reach their goals.

This is all so true! I learned all of this in the last few months, hah!

As ****ty as it sounds, would you be more happy to help a young, skinny, attractive women or an overweight, ugly older lady? Its shallow, but thats how the world works......male or female.

And yes after I lost weight and was in better shape I got more attention from better looking girls.

No one cares any more (hang head), but much more comfortable on long hauls.
LOL! Never thought of that.
