Major fail last night
I went to a hooker bar, got so drunk that I wasn't able to cum before the place shut and the hooker left, even though she gave me head. I hate alcohol so much now. I am going to go back there this weekend and bang her sober.
Serious.

Yeah, it's unfortunate that people have such a hard time seeing this. I am very grateful that I never really got into smoking. I did it a couple times as a kid and realized it was stupid and quit before I really started. Much rather be addicted to the gym (I'm working on gaining that addiction at the moment) than any of these things you mentioned. Hope the chest/shoulders session is a good one!

Although this is probably total bull****, and an obvious statement as to why you are in the red, I will still admit that it was kind of funny. But this is not the misc, so please take the thread seriously. If you are serious, which I highly doubt, you go back there this weekend and show that hooker who is boss bro!

Why do you doubt it? What is so unbelievable about what I said? It's the ****ing truth
The Sun City hooker bar in Thane, Maharashtra, India:

By the way I'm red only because of 1 thread I made (preworkout stimulants are bs)

Oh man. <facepalm>
Well, I can only second what JMath said. Then again, I don't see much hope if you're spending your fortnight at the "hookerbar".
I spent some time in Korea, I know a little about those hooker bars. Those were the days but in my circle you had to be pretty damn desparate to spend any time in one.
Please keep the thread semi serious here. I'm the first to joke around but this thread really isn't the place. Thanks.
Everyone else, keep up the good work!

Well I don't intend any disruption or trolling in this thread, the experience was real and another example of the negative effects of alcohol which is why I posted it. As for visiting hooker bars/desperation, India is culturally very different (read my thread Getting laid in India) which is why I choose to visit such places from time to time for some entertainment. It's very therapeutic for me.

I can respect that and I get your point. I just didn't want this to turn into the misc for obvious reasons. I'm not claiming to "own" this thread but there are quit a few people responding, and many more not, that enjoy it for what it is, which is why I replied.
If you're serious than my apologies. We all come to our conclusions about alcohol abuse in different ways. That happens to be yours lol.
Keep fighting.

Yeah, like TNetz said, if you're legit, I apologize too. Like I said in my first response to you though, go back there and show that hooker who is boss! Sorry to hear about why you're red. I think the whole supplement industry is given more credit than it deserves, there really is no supplement to hard work, diet and consistency. So I would have probably agreed with your opinion on pre-workout stims.

Good post..made me realize that every time I drink I lose sight on my diet and order junk food. And I had a close call awhile back that almost ended my career..and I dont even remember it. I quit drinking too..lol.

Its really awesome to see this thread.....ive never drank in my life, due to a personal decision and how Ive seen it affect family members and their lives. I thought high school was hard, but college is ever tougher. It seems like if you dont drink, your dirt. But this thread shows me there's more than just myself in this struggle. Thanks Guys!

Just want to add that if you use modafinil/provigil or any other nootropics regularly and drink while using them, you will drink a lot more than you can without them or should to feel buzzed. I got sick as hell the day before yesterday because for the first time in several months I was drinking without having had ANY nootropics in my system. Be careful.

Thnaks guys for the support. I'll rep on recharge.
Brutus, that's pretty cool that you make your own stones. I've never seen that before. Keep at it.

That's sweet that you make your own stuff. I really want to get one of the trap bars for shrugs, but they cost like $150.00 so until then, barbell exercises will just have to do.

Keep up the good work man. Booze was fun for a while, but it really doesn't result in any kind of terrific or ground breaking advances in your life. Definitely don't let peer pressure be the reason you start drinking. Just be happy knowing that you are going to have an easier time reaching your bodybuilding goals while they are making drunken fools of themselves (which is actually funny sometimes, I guess). The benefits from not drinking, far outweigh the benefits from drinking.

I don't think it sounds corny at all bro. I think the same exact thing. TNetz and this thread have inspired me and kept me motivated throughout the whole process of court and more importantly the process of not drinking. Good to hear that your doing alright. Gotta love the extra oomph for the gym.

Man, that really means a lot. All I can say is we're all in this together. Believe me when I say I get just as much from this thread as anybody else might. It's awesome knowing that there are people out there going through this with me.
Everything for me is going great! Things at home are finally where they should be, work is good, I'm on track with school, and my workouts are awesome. It's funny because this is the longest stretch I've ever had, going to the gym and not missing a day or given up totally. Feels great! I wouldn't give this up for anything. You said it best, everything is going smooth.
I'm glad you're doing good man. Welcome to the real world and unleashing your true potential! No more worries!
Thanks, JMath

Reasons:
-Legal troubles in the past.
-I'm newly married and if I want to have a healthy relationship with my wife I can not drink.
-I have a family history of alcohol abuse and it needs to end with me. My father lost his family because he couldn't say NO, I need to learn from his mistake.
-No more pointless drama, stupid arguments, and conflicts in general.
-save money
-wake up early on a Friday & Saturday for change.
-Mental health
Since June 09 I've been doing pretty good about keeping it to the weekends only. Before that I drank every other day, some weeks, every day. I always had an excuse for it saying I didn't have anything to do the next day or I didn't drink yesterday so today it's ok.
I wanted a change in my life so I decided to quit drinking during the week and start going to the gym again.
Now, it's not any better. I find my self very irritable on the days that I don't drink and I binge drink on the weekends. I won't say how much I drink but I know I only stop when I'm passed out on the couch.
This past weekend I got into a pretty good fight with my wife and I almost lost her.
I'm done. The only way for me to be healthy is to quit the cycle that I think I can control. I can not drink in moderation, I've tried. It's lasts for a while and then SMACK! It's back.
I'm too old for this sh!t.
