i think the main thing with bouncers is that you gotta be intimidating, whether its with size or just presence. like im sure martial art experts would be great bouncers. they could take down anyone and definitely have fighting skills.

the bottom line is, uve gotta be intimidating and or able to handle the **** that goes on

i bounce for 75 dollars for 5 hours a night in camden. nj. Its mostly mexicans and dominicans so its not that bad yet had to toss a few people around but most mexicans are like 5'4 (no racist) and their drunk as **** so its easy dealing with them. but they are talking about doing hip hop night and that brings in a whole different element.

Yeah I was thinking when I get to college, of being a bouncer somewhere.

Is there an age limit at all, or do you just have to be FRICKIN' HYOOOOGE?

I've been a bouncer since i was 18 (i weighed a lean 245 at 5'10" when i was 18)... so for about 2 years now, at various clubs/bars, and its a pretty awesome job.. The moneys great, and it can be a great power trip... the only thing is, you need to make sure you've got a good crew behind you at the bar you want to work at. I've been in situations where i've had 2-4 guys on me at once, and nobody was there to back me up, and it gets hairy. Ovreall though, its a fun job, lotsa girls, lotsa fun, and good cash. If anybodys got any questions about it, lemme know, i'm sure i could answer them for ya.
